What is the Kingfisher Initiative?
It's a project created as an incentive of AMHA club which's supposed to help increase the quality of Morgan breed in-game. Its name comes from the fact that it "fishes out" the foundies with potential to create a herd of quality foundies with diverse discipline predispositions.

How does it work?
Kingfisher horses are foundies which have passed the EC selection (meaning they have to have a decent confo, acceptable stat distribution and/or good color - if one is exceptionally good then the other may have some downsides, e.g. there can be a grey horse which has a very good confo).
I raise them from 0yo age boosting proper discipline stats and once they're adult they're up for adoption (I can sell them earlier in some cases). I sometimes take older, promising horses from RC or buy them from other players - these are marked with "KF" instead of "Kingfisher"
Once someone takes a horse off my hands, I have room for another quality foundie - this herd is supposed to be a helping hand in creating or completing your starter herds.

How to adopt?
You have to be AMHA club member - the initiative was created with similar goals to the club which registry restrictions put emphasis e.g. on low NSS and decent confo.
You need to PM me or my main account (#116321) with short description of your breeding plans (what discipline, sex and number of horses you need) so I could pick a horse/s to fit your goal. I usually will send You a list of available horses for You to choose from. Remember that the EC gives random horses, so we may not always have enough horses to fit your needs.
You can adopt up to 6 horses at once. The price of a horse is 1500 EVD without tack, and 5500 EVD with tack.

Can I pick a horse myself?
Yes, you can pick up to 3 horses yourself, but if the discipline don't line up with your breeding plans and their NSS will be high even after conversion I won't sell them to you.

Can I ask for a morgan stud/brood?
No, we plan to lock horses older than 6yo so we're not offering studs/broods from Kingfisher horses.

'Private horses' division consists horses of various breed/spec combinations and if above 15yo they can be almost always put up for stud/brood.
(Some KF horses can be moved into private horses division if they turn out to be an offspring of an overbred horse - they won't be put up for stud/brood)
