Blodwyn stud

Welcome to the Blodwyn stud!

Wow, my very own design, or at least, thanks to UlyssesBlue's generator I found way too late. Just now it means I might have to put something here.

At the Blodwyn stud we focus on high quality Welsh ponies. Breeding and showing them to get to the highest level.
Our main specialties are show jumping and dressage, but some side projects could be found here and there. Low nss is are main priority, pretty colors and raising conformation come second, but aren't lost out of sight.
Sales horses are generally being kept at Blodwyn3, feel free to check them out. Intrested in another pony or a stud/brood, you can always ask. No promises though haha.

 

Hall of Fame

There are many great ponies at the Blodwyn stud, but to put one in the spotlight would be our wonderful Blodwyn Santa Fé:
Currently the highest statted Welsh pony in the game. With that the highest stat gain and show winnings in her lifetime of her breed. Bred and raised by us.


Side projects
For a long time we only raised Welsh ponies, but recently started some new projects to keep things interesting.

- BDW show ponies
Inspired by the German riding pony, crossing different breeds to get the best possible sports pony out there. We started crossing some of our magnificent Welsh pony lines with other (pony) breeds to get the perfect performance pony.
Main focus are once again show jumping and dressage, but trying to get more colors and patterns not available for Welsh ponies. Specifically brown, champagne and appaloosa patterns are a focus right now. Heigth from 7.0hh to 14.2hh and all aiming for a maximum nss of 50 in their specialty.

- Bláth Bán Vanners
As a third projects we took on Gypsy Vanners specializing in driving. As usual aiming for a low nss for showing, but also trying to keep beautiful brown colours and a 60+ conformation.
