Jax padded through ears perked as he followed a scent trail of a hare, he was careful to watch his step as the scent grew stronger. He froze as he heard a shot rang out, he looked in the direction it had. He left the trail of the hare and headed in that direction, he broke into a run as a scent of man hit his nose. Jax knew he had to be careful as he got closer, he slowed his pace ad lowered his body. He saw Ash laying on the ground and another wolf not far from him, his eyes moved to them and then the human. He snarled jumping out of the cover of the trees, he showed his fangs as he looked the human in the eyes.

The sound of a gun echoed through the trees, making the silver ears perk with interest. Knowing if he were to go over there, there will be danger of a possible human, but what was the sense and sitting here, not knowing if the human might catch him off guard. The white pelted wolf trotted past the trees, nose sniffing and ears perked. The closer he got to the scent of gunpowder and wolves, the closer he was sure to the scene. And the he stopped, his eyes narrowing as he saw through the trees three wolves. One down on the ground, another being a female, and the other a male. "How heroic," the male wolf snorted as he watched in silence. His tail swayed with interest. 

Hurricane Ash's son heard the gun shot and tracked the source and found his father lying down dead. "W...what happened" he asked scared and upset. He looked from his father to the female wolf wanting an answer. "Father please get up please don't go please please I need you" Hurricane began to cry. He laid down beside his fathers limp body and didn't move until the next morning. Once the sun came up he got up and paced around not wanting to leave his fathers side dead or not. He continued to pace for about another five minutes before he finally got up and went to hunt.

Rinn had fallen back into the trees out of sight to the human. She followed them to another group of hunters in a log cabin. She head the howling of a hunting hound and left the area to go back to the pack. Just her luck that she would lose her new alpha almost like she had lost her first one. At the end of a gun. She did not realise that the humans reached this far into the forest. 
Rinn came back to Hurricane next to his father's fallen body. "What happened?... he was shot by a man. A gun. You should only fight man as a last resort. If you must choose between running and fighting always run. Rinn sat next to Ash with a sigh before pinning her head back to let rip a mourning roar of a howl. She was going to call the pack to the body. She knew most of the pack had seen the body already, but she felt she needed to call them in to tell them exactly what happened. 

"I know but my father didn't believe in running away from your fears." "He was strong and knew it I hate to see him go this way" Hurricane said sadly. He looked at his fathers dead body"when are we going to bury him?"

Rinn looked at Hurricane with calculating and seemingly cold eyes. "There is no cowardice in running if you are saving the lives of those you love. There is also stupidity in needlessly facing an enemy and leaving your pack defenceless... This is exactly how I lost my last alpha..." Rinn said as she sighed. "We will burry him the moment the hole is dug... Once someone starts digging" She looked around while waiting for the rest of the pack to turn up. 

"My father didn't think of it that way he wanted the best for his pack even if it killed him" Hurricane snapped tired of people saying he should have ran when he knew it was best. "Even if he did run it wouldn't have gotten the human off of his territory now would it?" He looked away blinking tears away. He bent down and said" father I will take your place and I will keep them safe I promise and I will never forget you!" "You should have never went like this but I understand why you did what you did my father I am so sorry I was not there to say goodbye but with this kiss goodbye I will say farewell." Hurricane started to dig a hole and he picked his father up by the scuff of the neck and dragged him into the hole and buried him. Hurricane slept there that night whimpering softy as he knew that would be the last words he will ever say to his father. 

Rin Stayed by hurricane's side, not leaving once to eat or drink. She kept her nose to the wind and her ears alert for anything. She stayed awake and watched over the younger wolf. She would be damned if she lost another pack to man's guns. In the morning she nudged Hurricane awake. "Come... you should eat and drink... I will show you where the humans are so you know where to stay away from." Rinn said to him quietly. 

I'm confused. There is another forum post with the same name but doesn't say sign-ups, is this a different roleplay?

"No I am okay" he said determined not to leave his father's side. He laid back down and rested his head where Ash's stomach was. He feel asleep soon after.

@Lunafox that was a mistake and they are different I am just about to delete that one so yeah!

Rinn watched Hurricane fall asleep. She yawned and left him there. She hunted for what ever she could find. During her hunt she passed where the men were just to see how many there were and try to track where they had gone. If they went near the pack she would need to somehow distract them and lead them away. She managed to stalk as fawn and take it down before dragging it back to Hurricane. She dropped the carcass in front of him and waited for him to wake up. She didn't eat a bit of the fawn.

In that case, can I sign up on this one? I was on the old one. (I'll probably use different characters on this one though).
