i. got. to. see. w. again.   

i showed at his barn
and i got the cutest photo of l and i standing next to w and his new kid.

him and his new kid were year end champion in both their divisions, hes such a good boy.  looks a lot older than he did a year ago, but still grumpy as ever.  when i walked up to him he saw me and put his ears forward and nuzzled me, which made me almost cry.  

i feel really bad for his kid because i never showed at his place the entire season, and then i came and beat him at the last show (he still beat me year end, obviously)
i was actually really hoping for him to beat me, and it kinda hurt when i beat him, i love him too much.

edit- i just realized it's been almost exactly a year since i saw him, the last time being on my birthday last year

Sounds like you have a good day and well done on your succes in the show :)

Wylie is my old school pony, he got me over a lot of my fears riding wise and he holds a very special place in my heart. I was given the option to purchase him but it would've been unfair for him to have to continue working as hard, he needed a little kid to retire with. Ultimately it was the best decision for both of us to go separate ways, but luckily I do get to see him everyone year or so. Thank you
