Soulmates (Human RP)

They say that we will all find love. Somewhere out there, is the perfect person for you. But finding that one might seem impossible. Well, what if I told you it didn't have to be so hard? I would tell you that because it really doesn't have to be.

There exists a society that has made it possible for youths to find love. When teens around the world celebrate their eighteenth birthday, they are each given a locket. The boy's, in the form of a watch. The girl's, in the form of a necklace. Inside, there is a picture of their soulmate. They are given their locket, 100,000,000 dollars, a home, and a mission; to find their soulmate. How about you? Will you find your soulmate?

Rules:

No godmodding!
Good grammar!
I am in charge, not you!
Stay active!
Be kind!
You must make a character of each gender!
Be respectful!
Eat some waffles!
No s*x scenes. If there are, we don't want to know details. Fade to black!
Nobody's perfect, neither are your characters!
Be descriptive!

READY, GET SET, GO!!!!!

Anna

Anna sat on the large couch and flipped through channels on the telly. She was feeling a bit lazy today. Her mum had called about an hour earlier. Anna's mum was always pressuring her to go out and try to find her soulmate. Anna pulled out the small locket. On the outside it was engraved with a name, Ajay Long. She opened it up. Inside was a handsome boy with a kind smile. Anna stared at the picture. It was just too good to be true. She couldn't help but feel that she'd never find him. She was in the UK. And he could be anywhere in the world.

Blair

Blair jogged around the track quietly. She'd already run her daily 2 miles. But she wasn't tired yet. She was lost in thought today. Her 18th birthday was last week. She' received her locket. But could the boy inside really be her soulmate? Would he be kind to her? Would he treat her right? These thoughts raced through her mind. she couldn't shake them.

Evan

Evan made his last shot, and sent the basketball flying through the air. He collected the ball and his bag as he made his way out of the court. He shut the gate and headed east, towards his home. He tried to get out of the house as much as possible. It wasn't that he didn't like the house. But it was so big, and he was living there alone. He felt so lonely.

Ryan

Ryan sat on the ground, leaning against the large oak tree in central park. He watched people continue their daily business. He observed their movements and actions. But it wasn't long before his thoughts were torn back to the watch locket on his wrist. "Rosalina..." He said under his breath. Her name was engraved on the locket. Who was she? He opened the locket for what must've been the thousandth time. He stared at the beautiful girl and wondered what she was like.

(Sorry each post is so short for each person, guys!!! Trying to make my first post, just to get it out of the way.)

Rosalina

Timmy sat down in Rosalina's lap, resting his little head against her shoulder. A soft smile rested against her lips as she rocked him, being careful not to disturb him as he went into slumber. Her fingers held the locket she had been given, the name 'Ryan', engraved onto the front of the locket. She opened it, fascinated by the image of a handsome young man. Rosalina wondered where in this world, her supposed 'soul mate' lived. His eyes look like the eyes of a sweet, young man. Her blue eyes glanced up at a very, prodigious portrait of her step-mother. The woman portrayed looked to be in her mid-thirties; her face caressed with luscious, blonde curls, and eyes the color of emeralds. But I don't know, it's hard to trust a person's outward image. She sighed deeply, returning her attention to the now-sleeping Timmy.

Malachi

Malachi dumped feed into the cattle's trough, his thoughts elsewhere as he did the chores. He set the bucket on the fence post, leaning his back against the fence. "Tawney", the name repeated continuously in his mind. He stroked his forehead with his fingers, trying to ignore the urge of curiosity. Where was this girl? Why did she stick to his mind? Was finding her the only way to find peace? He asked himself these questions as the minutes slipped by. Willard brought the cigarette to his lips, watching the boy from the porch. A smirk played on his face as he remembered the day he received his watch.

Tawney

The young red haired girl held tightly onto the three leashes, each of a different color. "Mascot! Down!" She commanded to the creamy male bully. The dog let out a low bellow in response as he jumped off the white male beside home that he had been trying to play with.
Tawney let the dogs walk up to the front step of her mansion, opening the door before letting the three bullies off their leashes into the house.
She kicked the door closed behind her, before pulling off her grey sweatshirt, making her locket jingle. She looked down at it, running her fingers over the engraved name. Malachi. Inside held a picture of an attractive young male. She had spent most of her time the last year staring at this picture and name.
She was sure she would find this "Malachi". That they would fall deeply in love, and that they would grow old together.
"Canary! Bomb! Mascot!" She yelled as the sounds of barking and growling came from the kitchen. The dogs came running, and all three piled on top of Tawney as she sat on the couch.

June

Laying on the bed in her light pastel colored bedroom, the African girl smile weakly as a soft breeze blew across her duel colored skin. Her phone held to her ear, she listened to her mother going on about how she met her soulmate, June's father, and how June should be looking for her own.
"Mama, mimi sina wasiwasi. Ni vijana na wana mengi ya kushoto ya maisha. Kama inamaanisha kwamba mengi kwako, kwa nini huna mpango likizo suala na sisi anaweza kwenda safari baadhi faini yake? Hakuna mama yeye si Afrika. Nina hakika si akili hali yangu. Bila kuwa soulmates kama alivyofanya." She said in her mother's native tongue, being she didn't speak English, unlike June.
Her mother finished speaking and hung up. Sighing, June sat up, beginning to grab some clothes since she was off to find her soulmate with her mom in a few days.

(What June said to her mom; "Mother, I'm not worried. I am young and have plenty of life left. If it means that much to you, why don't you plan a bog vacation and we can go on some trip to fine him? No mother he isn't African. I'm sure he won't mind my condition. We wouldn't be soulmates if he did.")

Ajay

Running a hand through his dark hair, he turned off his music that was blasting through his earbuds as he got off the plane. He was still searching for his soulmate, like he had been for the past two years. He had immediately started a search. First in his own country, the US, then in Africa, then Asia, and now he was in the UK. Specifically in England. Everything was so different then when he was at home, or Asia and Africa. Nothing was every constant for him besides himself and who he was looking for. He looked down at his watch, opening it again to see the picture of the pretty girl.
"Anna..." He whispered, before looking back up, startled by someone pushing him as they walked past. The last two years had seemed to drag on as Ajay searched for his Anna. He knew nothing about her besides what she looked like and her name, and yet he felt a deep love and need for her. A craving for her affection and to protect her.
Was she looking for him? Maybe she was in the US right now, looking for him. Nah, he told himself, shaking his head. He walked out of the airport, out into the chilly afternoon air.

Nico

The dark haired guy blasted music through his mansion, letting the smoke from his blunt roll off his lips with a smile. He had just recently picked up the habit of smoking weed, but it relaxed him. Took his mind off of the things he didn't want to think about.
And yet his gaze traveled down to his watch that he couldn't bring himself to take off. He didn't know why, he just couldn't do it. 'Sisley' was a pretty girl, he guessed. Not that he cared much. He didn't believe in any of this, and wasn't going to waste his life looking for her when he could waste his life smoking and blasting music.
But he wouldn't mind to much if she found him, he guessed, probably because he was pretty lonely if he thought about it. No one to talk to, not that he had anything to talk about.
He shrugged, taking another hit before finishing it and falling asleep on the couch.

Anna

Anna finally rose off of the couch after what seemed an eternity of staring at her locket. He was all she could think about. Her eighteenth birthday had been celebrated a week ago. She should be looking for him.

Anna grabbed her hoodie and beaten up converse sneakers. She pulled he hoodie over her head, before wrapping her hair in a messy bun. She slipped into the old, red converse, and laced them up before rushing to the door. She grabbed an apple, before running out the door. The icy London air bit at her face, and burned her chapped lips. She ran to her car and swung open the door. She crawled inside the new Bentley, and abruptly closed the door before anymore cold air could enter. She sat for a second, after starting the car, to let it heat up. The girl glanced to the back seat, where her gaze fell to her backpack. She'd packed the thing full of clothes, and other needs. It was her emergency bag. Now, she could just go and find her Ajay. And that was what she was gonna do. She drove down the long driveway. She was going to town, to start her search.

Evan

Evan gazed down at the picture of his June. She was so beautiful. Yes, he'd noticed the white patches. But that didn't bother him a bit. To him, She was beautiful. He didn't care if she was green. And he didn't know her. But something inside of him felt like he did. And he wanted to be with her. Tonight, He was heading out again. He was headed for Australia this time. Next, was Africa.

Ryan

Ryan had just arrived home 2 days ago. And he was heading out again in 3 days. He had been searching and searching for rose. But nothing had tired his need to be with her. He had vowed that he would search forever, if he had to.

Rosalina

Carefully she rose from her chair, taking Timmy to his room and gently laying him on his little bed. She kissed his forehead, noticing her father from the corner of her eyes. He gave a short nod to her, gesturing that she needeth not say a word. After she hugged him for a brief period, she went to her room.

Rosalina packed only a week's worth of clothing, along with the necessary things. She snatched her purse from the door knob, making sure her passport and Visa were in it. Picking up both bags, she hurried out to the living room, stepping out the door before her step-mother awoke.

Today was her first day in searching for her soul mate, she was excited and worried at the same time. What if he doesn't like me? The question often entered her mind, she shook her head, determined to not think negatively. She hopped into her silver Corvette, inserting the key into the ignition and cranking it.

Malachi

Malachi ran up to Willard, about to say something when the old man held out his hand in a 'stop' gesture. He leaned down, picking up an old suitcase and handing to Malachi. "Go find yer' girl." the hoarse voice 'ordered'. Malachi grinned, taking the bag from him and running to his Silverado. "Thanks Willard!" he called out, jumping into his truck, cranking it and sped off to the main road.

Tawney, here I come!

Tawney

Taking a deep breath, she sighed. She had turned nineteen (19) only a few weeks ago, celebrating her waste of one year in finding Malachi and building a relationship with him. She knew she was older, which she found somewhat odd, so even if she had found him the day she heard of him, he wouldn't have been ready. But even so, she felt as if she failed. Her parents, unlike most, had met before either of them turned nineteen, and had had the same high expectations for Tawney, knowing she wouldn't meet them.
Her parents had always been like that, setting unreasonably high expectations for her, knowing she could be chastised for not doing as was expected of her, though it was near impossible for her to do so. That was part of the reason she had moved to Africa with June until she turned eighteen (18), then moved back the America and stayed there.
Again letting out a deep sigh, she patted the dog under her hand. She had closed her eyes while in thought, so she didn't know who she was petting, but based on the mass amount of wrickles and to low grumble she got from them, she assumed it was Bomb.
"Oh, if only Malachi was here to cherish you all with me."

June

She sat infront of her mirror after she finished packing her bags. She applied a light pink lipstick to her plump lips, adding a few touch-ups to her eyeliner and mascara. It was hard to do much makeup when your skin was like June's, white patches here and there made it almost impossible for her to wear anything to cover her blemishes. Not that June had many, she had been blessed with the clear skin of her mother when it came to pimples, blackheads, all of the things that would hide in her skin and make it look all the more worse.
She hadded a bit of light blush before she was done, running her long fingers through her curly hair is the very tight, small curls fall down slightly passed her shoulders. Standing up she pulled up her bleached skinny jeans, before adjusting her white mid sleeve shirt so it was fitting properly. Stepping into her white vans, she walked into the kitchen of the mansion, grabbing a small bag of pistachios and her sweatshirt.
That was the thing about living in the very modern part of Africa that she lived in. Most Americans, according to Tawney, didn't believed the they lived very similarly to Americans, as if they were all a first world country when they are not. She snorted, shaking her head as she grabbed her phone and wallet, before stepping out into the heated sun. "No wonder Evan hasn't come looking for me, or at least found me, here. It's so hot." She chuckled as she rolled her eyes.

Ajay

Walking on the sidewalk past the others also leaving the airport by foot, he breathed in the crisp air, making him draw another sharp breath. Shoving his hands in the pockets of his sweatshirt, he groaned as a cold breeze picked up, smacking him in the face. If he weren't so determined to find his Anna, he'd have turned around and waited inside.
Two years. He reminded himself. Two long ears that seemed to take four more years. He had done so much traveling, so much searching, and had yet to find her. It was as if she was running behind him, like a shadow. He had traveled to almost every place he though of, and had yet to find her.
He continued down the sidewalk, watching as people in bikes or cars drove by, some people walked, but very few. It was hard to believe anyone other than Ajay was walking on foot, he thought. The air so cold and bitter, even he didn't want to be out.

(So sorry for not posting un a while. Lifes been crazy.)

Anna

Anna pulled into the coffee shop parking lot. She parked the silver, sleek Bentley.again, as she stepped out of the car, the icy air nipped at her. She hugged her sweatshirt closer. Anna rushed inside, her backpack gently swaying as she went. She sat down at a small table and pulled her black dell laptop out of the neon pink backpack. She slid the computer onto the table before putting in the password. The girl needed a plan. She pulled several maps out of her backpack and slammed them on the table, along with a few highlighters, pens, and pins.

Evan

Evan pulled out a large binder. It was stuffed with maps, notes, pictures, and the things. He was determined to find his June. He'd searched endlessly. For the past 5 years he had searched. But he had no luck.
