Tasha felt the rough shoulders hit against her as they rushed past her, paying no heed to the blind girl. Her books fell from her arms, carefully she knelt down, feeling around for the books. A sigh broke from her lips, wishing she wasn't 'cursed' like this. She had no friends, no family, barely even a home.

Ethan was rushing down the hall and saw out of the corner of his eye, the blind girl had lost her books. He walked over to her, and grabbed her books and handed them all to her. He grabbed her hand and helped her up. He quietly walked off, without a word.
"She must be the new girl." He thought.
"Ohhhh, Looks like Ethan has a crush.......On the blind girl" Ty, his friend laughed. He looked back at her.
"Shut it Ty, I never said that."

"Thank you!" Tasha called out, her natural, melodic tone embedded in her voice as she called out. She hurried towards her class, passing Ethan as she did so. Girls pointed at her as she walked by, criticizing her pretty, brown hair and creamy complexion. That was advantage of being blind, she didn't have to see them pointing.

Ethan Had heard her yell thank you to him.
"Your Welco-''
"Its lunch time doofus" Ty said.
The two friends walked to the lunch room together and ordered lunch. They sat down at the Jock Table and talked about football and sports. He saw her walk in and order. Ty saw him staring at her and playfully punched his shoulder and gave him a "I told you so" smirk.

Tasha passed down the main part of the lunch room, where most kids sat, walking until she heard no more voices near her. She sat down in her seat, the table was at the far end and was the smallest, only meant for two or three. My fingers felt across the plate, taking the sandwich into my hand once I felt it. Slowly she took a bite of her sandwich, placing it back down onto the plate and 'staring' down at the table.

Ethan grabbed his tray and walked over to Tasha and sat with her.
"So, uh, I never caught your name, I'm Ethan By the way." He said.
He took a bite of his sandwich and felt a piece of paper hit his neck, He turned around and saw Ty looking at him. He unraveled the paper and it said, "Wow man, Ditching your friend for a girl."
He gave Ty a im sorry look. He saw that Tasha had dropped something, he didn't even say what it was, he Picked it up and handed it to her.

Tasha's head turned towards the direction of his voice, her eyes looking as if they were trying to look at him. "The boy who helped me in the hallway, thank you again. My name is Tasha, nice to meet you." she smiled, taking the pen that she had dropped earlier and placing it beside her tray. "Are you new here, I just recently started at this school?" she asked kindly.

"Nahh," Ethan said, I have been here for years. So have my "Friends." So, where did you move from??

"A town a few miles away from here called Broxferd." She answered, wondering why he might have said 'Friends' in that tone. Maybe they didn't treat him like a friend, that could be it. I completely understood what having no friends was like, well except for my dog.

"Can you see at all?" "My Cousin is blind too" He wondered what she was staring off in to. A awkward silence at their table had filled the air. He tried to bred the ice. "Do you like dogs?" He asked out of the blue, randomly. He Loved dogs. He had two of his own.

"I can only see dim blurs of light. I can see you nor your outline." She answered, her voice calm and quiet. She smiled at the subject of dogs, "I have a dog, she's only a year old. Bell is a husky, what are your two dog's breed?" The thought of her happy Bell, brightened up her thoughts a little bit.

He though for a moment.
"I have two Borzoi" He tried to remember how old they were.
"They are both 2 and litter mates, Brothers," He said.
"Flex and Dallas are their names," He said cheerfully.
He kpt eating trying to think of something else to say.

"Well I have to go home now, I leave school early because the rest of my classes are online. They read aloud the questions." she spoke, standing up and feeling around for her bag, which she found and grabbed. "Thank you again for earlier, it was nice meeting you!" she smiled, turning to leave.
