How do you read the new training levels?

I still am not sure how the training system works.

If you go to the Training Center and click to find a center, it will find one based on your horses level and specialty (so if your horse is Novice Dressage it will find one for them, but if you have another horse that's Local Show Jumping make sure to find a new center) and you can enter one time per horse per day.

Basically once that bar on your horse's page fills up you get a stat boost so every week or so (depending on if you train regularly or not) you'll get something like 2-10 stats added to your horse's total. It's basically a way to get more stats for your horse.

This is my basic understanding of it, so I could be mistaken. :P

It's ever 10 days, assuming daily training, and seems to range a total of 9-15 stat points.

Ok I haven't gotten a stat level increase but I got a training level increase. Just not sure what I should be expecting.

You'll have to visit the horse's page to see the stat boost once it's available. (It shows up as a red button near where the training progress bar is.)

I'm also a little confused on the training "levels," since that doesn't sync up with the stat boost. I went from level one to level two after seven days, but the first stat boost is after ten days. Maybe the levels are just to let the player know how long their horse has left in training? Since Abbey said there were a maximum of five levels.

The stat boost I got seemed to be consistently based on what grade my horses are in. My Novice level horses all got 11 stats, and my National got 19. Most of my horses are Local or Regional, but I promptly forgot how many stats they received, though I think it was 13 and 15 respectively. And those stats are randomly divided between the two dominant stats for the discipline. So one of my novice drivers got 10 strength and 1 endurance, while another got 5 strength and 6 endurance, etc.

The training levels don't have to do with stats. They have to do with how "lucky" your horse is in shows. When your horse shows, there is always an element of chance. Sometimes your horse will be on its A game, and sometimes it will have an off day. The higher your training level, the more likely it will be to be on its A game. I think there are five training levels total.

Confessor, so my horses do not gain stats from training? Ugh!

Yes, your horses do gain stats from training; see my previous comment, and others in the thread. Every ten times you train, you gain a stat boost which you use on your horse's page. The number of stats they gain is determined by their showing grade.

What Confessor was talking about is that the training *levels* have nothing to do with the stat gain.

Training does give stats, through the stat boost, and it's a nice little boost, too. Those are the little boxes that fill up, and when they're all full, you can cash them in, and start over.

At the same time, your training level fills up. That's the bar above the boxes. When the bar is full, you gain a level, which affects your luck. You can have a total of five levels.

It's an incredibly useful feature, I think.
