Drawing

I took a photo of my daughter's horse and drew him. How does it look?
Yes I used PSP to help a little.
His name is Why Ask Wy. Aka Wyatt he is a sealpoint bay paint gelding. More white then brown on him. Photo was taken on 07 at a horse show we attended with him.

How harsh are you ok with because...

Lol I know there are issues. I quit drawing back... Ten or so years ago so am rusty. Feet is not my strong point so feel free. I am fairly laid back an yes the horse has conformation issues. I did not buy him because of his conformation I bought him because he was headed to the well known Camolot Livestock Auctions.

First of all, what are the white spots? Getting rid of them would help. :)

And I also think it is a bit blended in - I can't really see the face :)

Did you mean an edit rather than a "drawing"?
10 years without drawing doesn't really justify the images being exactly the same, imo...and there's a little bit of ground not cropped out along the bottom behind the leg there.

It doesn't really look like a drawing. It's the image edited out with a filter on it o - o

Perhaps she was beign sarcastic when she said drawing? Trying to give her the BOTD...

I was about to mention that this is a photo edit and not a drawing :P theres nothing wrong with editing photos, but next time i wouldnt state that it is a drawing though :3

Edits are cool, trust me its fun to muck with images but just gonna say that most of us can tell when somethings not drawn, those little white dots come from the magic selector tool I'm pretty sure ;3

Oh and actually the horse in the pic is really nice looking ♥

the dots are a dead giveaway that this is a filter and not a drawing.

Working with pspx8 is not easy. You use psp to edit the photo then use the pencil function to help with shading. An yeah my sketchbook shows how bad I got. I quit drawing ten years ago because an old injury to my wrist reared its ugly head. The authritus does not allow paper drawing anymore and barely mouse. Sketching was something I loved once upon a time. I call it a drawing due to the fact that yes it is a mucked up photo (hey brow and was messed up. It is silver not all black.) but I used the more fine pencils to see if I could get the nice graphics I used to do. Clearly I can not so thank you for your input.
