New Horse(Maybe)?

Okay y'all, we just rescued another horse. Now we have 3 horses and 7 ponies 0.o He's a 12-year-old sorrel QH gelding, sweet as can be but lame in his front left leg, soft tissue damage we were told. For once, I do have pictures! They aren't mine tho, they're from the breeders(maybe probably trainers, idk) from before the guy we got him from bought him. Apparently, his name is... Barnacle Boy. Yeah, no thanks xD Here's the video, he's pretty cool, just pause and go to the very beginning for a pic of his face. His tail is mostly black, which I like, and the only white is his star :3 

I did say he was lame, but he's fine for light riding, and is only ouchy when trotting. He does have weirdly lumpy butt muscles, vet said it was normal, and you can see it a little bit in the video around the circles. Otherwise, I like him♥ Oh yeah, and the guy we got him from, Moneir, called him "Rip", which I don't like either, so anyone got any name ideas?

Here's another thing: we only got him because Moneir had a vet appointment scheduled for this morning at 10am... to ut him down. He felt horrible about it and was really glad to see him live. He also said the farrier had been out the week prior,  but either he's tripping or his farrier is half-blind, because yikes. We had to take off one of his shoes because it came really loose.

Oh so happy that he got found from you!! Also he reminds me of a chessie thoroughbred..? Idk but the 2nd, 3rd, and last pic makes me be reminded of a chestnut thoroughbred..

I do agree with you about the stallion's previous name, since you know, I can see that your gonna rename him- though I did search for some good names! Though I did also dig through soem chessie names as well, I actually found a couple or more I liked.. Hehe..

My literal favorite is the horse name I use for a book, which is Alabaster! You can see why.. Because it's a real gemstone, marble, sculptures, home decor, its also a white powder too.. I never knew that- I actually didn't and used the name since I loved it so much, I even made Alabaster too! I just- replaced it with another name.. I'm actually gonna make a new Alabaster!!

Pahn Pahn he is a Sorrel Quarter Horse Gelding!! And he is just so cute ( I watched a lil snippet of the video of his owner riding him around and showing him off)

he does western and english, has the tiniest bit of polo experience, but i mostly a trail/lesson horse :3 

oh btw he has grease spots!! You can see them on the side of his face in the last pic, a dark spot on his snoot :3

Barnicle Boy aka 'Rip' - Google Docs

thank you all for the name ideas! I love Cherokee and Quantum, but with his goofy personality they're not quite the right fit♥ Quantum sounds too... smart, and Cherokee reminds me too much of our white Jeep Cherokee ^^;

I asked my brother if he should be Dangledorf, Dumbledorf(both are things my mom calls Dumbledore) or Firetruck(cuz why not) He goes off and says "JD 6920". John Deere 6920, it's the biggest tractor John Deere currently makes. So his name is JD(for now, trying it out, it seems to fit)
