So freaking exciting!!!!

Went to my university's baseball game (game 1 out of 3) with my puppy, just to have some fun, and to cheer on my friends. When I walked into the gate, I was surprised to see a table set up, talked to the people there, which they are starting a rewards program for people who collect the foul balls, and turn them in for a golden ticket. I got the stuff, smiled, thanked them, and grabbed a couple seats for my stuff. Then, the handsome young man who works for TTU athletics came up, and asked me if I'd like to throw the first pitch before the game started. I jumped, gasped, and said, "Are you kidding?! Of course I would!!!!" I started jumping up and down, grinning ear to ear, and eagerly followed him. Boy, was I nervous, but so happy. I only told one of the guy's mother and nobody else; as I wanted to surprise the guys. :D

About 15 minutes later, walked out onto the field after the national anthem, to which one of the opposing team tried to block my way, as they wanted to play ball, and not be held up like that. "No, we want to play ball. No delays, especially from a girl........" Top it off, he wouldn't move even when I politely asked him too. I shook my head and pushed him out of the way, to which the opposing players were like, "Coach? You okay?" I was a little shocked at that. Why on earth was the coach being a bully like that?

Anyway, the guys recognized me slightly, as I heard a few of them say, "Hey, isn't that *Feather's name here*????" I smiled, but didn't reveal myself until the announcer said, "And now, *Feather's name here* will throw the first pitch to the catcher." Boy, you should've heard the guys hooting and hollering at that!!! I am their #1 fan and their official baseball sweetheart; besides being a really good friend. :) They cheered me on, while the opposing team jeered. I simply gave them my "look", they shut up, and threw the ball with all my might to the catcher. It was a little off, about three feet from his glove, but it did make it to him. He got the ball, came back over, gave me some encouragement, a quick hug, and we got a cool picture. :)

Sadly, they lost 9-4, but I had a great time. :)

Well, actually I guess it depends what it was, but baseball is one of the things I'm not good at. I don't have a very strong arm for pitching, but I'm practicing on my catching ;)
