#12829 Posted on 2016-03-01 08:54:29 Paint Horse Club Welcome to all members of the new Paint Horse club! I'm glad to have you all with me as we head into March. c: Hopefully we can make this month a fun one. As club president I'm here to help all Paint Horse breeders connect with one another in a mass effort to create the best horses available. I'll be spending the next day looking through registry horses and putting together the layout for the club, so get your registrations in! I'm going to be using this thread to run the first contest - the club mascot contest! The club mascot must be the epitome of the best of the breed. High stats and good confirmation are a must, and bonus points for a intact/nearly intact pedigree, no inbreeding, and good color. If you have a horse that fits these, feel free to try out for mascot! Only two entries per person for now, to cut down on the number I'll have to go through, so pick your best! Mascot Entry Form Entry: (in link form) Second: (optional) I'm also working out rules for registrations along with stud book registrations. Should we have a standard for those accepted into registration, or open registrations? I'm leaning towards the former, but I want to see what everyone else wants. It would be more than likely based on an age to stat basis. Stud books would be mostly based on the same, but with a more important look into the lines of the horses involved to avoid broken lines in new foals. Either way, post here with your mascot entries, and also with your thoughts on the registration.
