Nicholas is a rather prideful stallion who decides who is ontop when wanted or needed. He doesn't make the best lesson horse thus is why we leased him to Richard. Nicholas does express dominant issues between his leaser and himself which can either end with him tossing his head and fighting or with him abiding by every movement of Richard. He's extremely courteous to mares and always can be seen running against Chris who fights back for only a few seconds before succumbing to submission. Nicholas' competing nature surely would've made him an excellent shower, but his shoulders and withers did not meet exceptions.

Nicholas was purchased from a private breeder at a young age. His breeder had no intentions on keeping him as a stud due to his lacking conformation. His poor shoulders were a main target that the breeder deemed extremely disappointing. Without our intervention Nicholas would either have been sold to another stable and if that failed, would've been culled. Wasting away such perfect genetics made us sick to our stomachs and with that we had to save the poor colt.
