Welcome to CL Stables

We (and by that I) are currently specializing in driving Gyspy Vanners , with a special focus on flaxen gyspys as they get their own division. Additionally, I'm slowly adding to my stock of dressage Lipizzaners in order to breed and flourish black Lipizzanners. After our recent sale of showing stock CL Stables currently has no horses for sale or stud, but keep an eye out for any in the future. Now let's meet the divisions!

Midnight Drinks

These are my Lippizanner division and the only division currently that has a naming theme. They are all going to be named after alcoholic drinks and brand names. Now why am I doing this? There is no real reason, it just struck me that I wanted to have a naming theme other than simply names based on a country or language and the first thing I thought was why not drinks. The goal for this division is to consistently breed all black horses without carrying grey. The Star of this division is the newly bought Smirnoff! He was chosen because he is actually the only black non-greying Lippizanner I got from the horse creator, and he had fairly good confirmation to boot.

The Flaxen Crew

This is the first division I ever created, as I wanted to create a hoard of flaxen gyspys. While not as big as I wish they were, these are the pride and joy of my stables. The star of this division is Joan of Arc! Not only did she have zero poors in her confirmation but has low nss stats and markings like roan that I actually like (personally I prefer gvs without markings)

Transcending Gypsies

These are all my other gvs that aren't flaxen. Here I still breed for colour, and in general prefer duns, and creams, though with the recent change in silver horses I am now being drawn to them as well. They are currently locked mainly because I'm intimidated by the sheer amount of horses in this divisions, but with everything happening they will probably be unlocked soon. The star here is clearly Zenoclus! He has literally all the alleles that I love, literally, and has no poors and low nss as well. He is truly a shining star in this division.
