Our rescues are from the "Horse Search" and sometimes the rescue center. We don't usually go for hunger (unless it's 0%) because you just have to give the horse food and it will be back to 100%. We take in horses that have 60% and below happiness because that is hard to fill up. It's extra important if a horse is overdue in checkups in vets and farriers if it meets requirements above. We also have a wide range of breeds and find mostly Quarter Horses who need to be rescued, so that is why we have so many. 


Adopting-
The adoption fee here at Star Rescue Centre is $200. You may also bid more (as a donation or if you want to). We bookmark all of the horses here that are going to be adopted. If we see you are taking care of that horse for a week, we unbookmark the horse. If you are NOT taking care of the horse, we will contact you and ask that you please return the horse for a full refund. 



Donations-
We will accept any and all donations wether it's money, tack, food, or treats. EVERYTHING will go to the horses. If you give us money, we can expand our barn capacity, rescue more horses, buy food, and way more. If you donate tack, the tack will be used if we decide to show our horses (which will occur once we apply a dicsipline and get everything 100%). If you donate food/treats they will obviously be fed to the horses and will allow us to boost the hunger and happiness up of a horse, which means that if you want a horse that is still low on happiness, you're able to give them treats every day to boost their happiness at double the speed. 



Time Limits-
Some horses will have time limits, meaning they can only stay here for a limited amount of time. As we mentioned before we love ALL aid our horses and ponies, but we need to make room for horses who are really in need of rescue. Horses may stay here for 2 years (2 weeks) if they have a time limit or else we will have to drive to find homes for them. 


Q&A-
Q- I have a horse who I no longer want/can't take care of. Can I give them to you?
A- Of course! We accept any and all donations which includes horses! We'd much prefer to keep the horse happy and healthy here than be put into rescue center. 

Q- I want to adopt a horse that you JUST got in! Can I PLEASSSEEE have him?
A- I'm sorry to say, if the horse isn't completely healthy and happy, we have to keep them here. If the horse has a clean bill of health and happiness of course you can!

Q- Can I get a horse for free?
A- Another question I must say no to. Our horses are $200 so we can find the money towards other horses and more care. 

Q- I saw a horse that needs to be rescued! Can I contact you?
A- If the horse is in terrible condition and is $2000 or less you may contact us. As long as there is a very low price to the horse we will take them.
