If love could have saved you 💔

Today, was not the day I knew inevitably it would come, but I didn’t think it would have been today. At 3:30 we took Callie in to the vet to get another shot. But we made the difficult and humane choice of putting her down. After a year and a half with  IBD and being the grumpiest cat. After, coming back from my trip in California and knowing Callie didn’t like to be away from me, I was told she hardly moved from my bed except to use the litterbox once or twice. An when I got home, I saw it for my own eyes eyes 😭. 

Even though Callie was the cat I grew to love after her sister Bailey died, and then Callie eventually grew bonded to me. My heart is breaking in more ways than I know, an I’m taking time to process it all, as of right now I’ve cried and cried and probably will for the next while. I know she was loved and had a good 15 years with me. 

I’ll be taking a hiatus for a bit as right now I feel broken, and numb and have no more words to wrap this up. 

Sorry about Callie Daph! She was a very loved kitty, and you gave her the best life. Its always awful losing a beloved pet, but you did right by her in the end ♥

Goodbyes are never easy. I know from all your other post that you gave her the best life possible. Letting go is difficult but sometimes for the best.

I lost my 13yr old barn cat 2yrs ago. Still miss her. She was one of the best ♥

I'm so sorry to hear about Callie. It is such a difficult decision to make but I'm sure that it was the right one for her. I wish you as much healing as possible.
