Thoughts/prayers for Lucky

Well, today has been a really tough day... my cousins horse(who i ride), well, every horse owners fear happened today. He colicked...

He was showing all signs of it: pawing/rolling/laying down/not eating/no stool/excessive sweating...

This happened around 10 AM this morning(10-14). My cousin stayed home with him all day(even in our 90 degree weather with no shade). We took turns walking him, making sure he wasnt laying down, just keeping him sort of entertained so he couldnt do anything to get injured. Trying to get him to drink the mineral oil. 

We live in an area with not many horse vets, so we had to call a vet from another county, which we couldnt get ahold of, so we tried to get in contact with some others. Im not sure where we are on that, ill add more as i find out.

Oh no! I hope everything works out, and I'm praying for you guys and Lucky! Hopefully you get in contact with a vet!

As of this morning (@3AM), Lucky passes away. We will miss you bubba! 😭 love you so much ❤️❤️

Thank you all so much❤️ today was very hard but we made it through. It was so sad to see him go, he was still so young with so much life to live, but i hope the grass is greener on the other side ❤️❤️
