So I have a mini horse and it says that there color is Unknown(white). I was just wondering what is means by that.

I think it's because you have not done the genotype testing. So white is a modifier on top of the base color - but it doesn't know what the base color of the horse is, because you haven't revealed the genotype. If you pay the $1,000 and do the genotype testing, it should show you the base color. For example: Color = Bay (White)

That is correct, because white is dominant and covers all markings and coat colours, you need to test a horses genotype to reveal it's colour.
