#243963 Posted on 2021-07-22 11:55:02 One Man's Trash Training Extravaganza - August One Man's Trash is Another Man's Treasure after all! Our first month back is almost over, there is only one week left before final prizes are awarded! I wanted to go ahead and open the entries for next month's training. *There will be some slight variations this month.* Here's how it works. The top two are the basic tiers. You may enter one of them and the Return of the King contest if you want to train two horses. Surprise Me: You can pick a breed or gender that you prefer, and I use a random number generator to choose a horse that meets those specs out of the RC. If no horses that meet your specifications are in the RC, I will go ahead and get a foundie for you. Pick of the Litter: You send me a link to the horse from the RC that you would like. It must be N1 to start. I believe that stat boosts start giving more stats the higher level a horse is and I am trying to keep a pretty even playing field for everyone. Return of the King: If you would like to re-enter your horse from last month, I will run a separate contest for them if there is enough interest! The ultimate goal of this contest is to improve the horse as much as you can, boosting its stats through either showing or riding schools and well as treating and all that jazz. At the end of the event, you can choose what to do with the horse you have trained. You can sell it, keep it, retire it (which would kind of defeat the point, but it's up to you). If you don't want to deal with it afterwards, you can always send it back to me and I will take charge of the rehoming process. c: Rules: - You will not be disqualified for inactivity. I understand that life gets in the way sometimes. But keep in mind that this will significantly limit your chances - Stick to basic treats only! No peppermints, etc. - Disqualifiers: feeding non-specialty treats (peppermints, sugar cubes, etc) and selling your horse before the end of the contest. - You may enter both a basic (either Surprise Me OR Pick of the Litter) and continuing (Return of the King) contest! - Horses must be picked up from the RC by me (or you can pick them up and then transfer to me if you are worried about them getting picked up while I'm offline). I send all of the horses out at the same time the date that the contest starts to make sure no one is getting a head start. - Post editing is not allowed. All breed/gender choices are final so please be sure that what you are posting is what you really want -You need to join the group to be eligible to enter! One Man's Trash Prizes: 1st - 5 EVC 2nd - 3 EVC 3rd - 1 EVC Anyone who increases their horse's stats by 100 or more will be entered into an additional raffle at the end of the month! I've never really done breeding projects, or try and bring a horse from trash to treasure. I've always just had them for no purpose really. Until these contests of course. 1 members like this post. #244377 Posted on 2021-07-29 11:56:01 Hi Reaper, the horses must be picked up by me and will all be sent out at the same time on the 1st of the month (to make sure no one gets an unfair advantage by getting to start early). Your pick of the litter horse won't be counted at the moment (unless you'd like to transfer it over to me to be locked until this round of entries starts). Editing to add; You may also only enter into one "beginner level" class (either the surprise me OR pick of the litter) since those horses are all being judged in the same group. The returning horses are being judged separately from the beginners. I picked up a horse from the RC before I realized so I do have an entry for you in the "surprise me" portion.
