Fay
Emma mounted Fay, and walked her past the outdoor arena. The two were going on a trail ride, and Fay was a bit excited to see what the trails were like. Little did Fay know was that Emma didn't really know most of the trails. The filly was much more awake now as she picked up to a trot. The trails were nice, but some parts were really narrow and dark. Though the two didn't really mind. After about an hour, Emma dismounted Fay, and refilled her water bottle at a stream. Fay went ahead and had a drink of the nice cold fresh water.
Not long after the two were back at it, they reached a split in the trail. Left or right? Emma had gone left the last time, so she wanted to see something new, and decided to go right. Within the next hour, the two were deep in the woods. Emma thought the trail would bring them to the nearby meadow she knew was somewhere close by. But, with her trying to find it, so they can start to head back, they only got deeper into the woods. The both of them were lost. Why would she do this if she doesn't know most of the trails!? Fay thought as she was annoyed and agitated. She was starting to get hungry, and she wanted her meal.

Clay
As the duo returned to the ranch, chaos ensued. Remy acted like he's hadn't seen Clay in 10 years, and Esprit was jealous she wasn't the one getting attention. Clay overheard a few grooms talking about how a rider and horse hadn't been back all days and the last time anyone had seen the pair was earlier that morning. Clay cursed under his breath, "agh, the new rider. She doesn't even know where the heck she is, why is she taking that horse out on those trails?" Clay huffed, and mounted Esprit. "Got enough in ya for one last ride?" The sun was falling, so they had to step on it. Who knows how many coyot's are out tonight. Clay kicked Esprit into motion, and they sped towards the trail entrance, past the dogwood stump, and arrived at the fork in the path about 20 minutes later. Clay dismounted to check for fresh tracks, and scrambled back up on tack-less Esprit.

Esprit
Esprit got antsy- Clay, get back on! They went this way- I know it!" Clay mounted and Esprit quickly took off again, hopping over limbs and climbing down the trail. Esprit slid to a halt, searched the woods around her, and took a path that looked recently trampled down. There, awaited an agitated Fay and a scared rider.

Fay
Emma had tied Fay's reins to a branch. Fay looked around every now and then, and lowered her head to the ground. She could only hear her rider cursing underneath her breath. The filly was tired, hungry, and thirsty. There was just some trees, bushes, boulders, and the dirt trail. Emma blamed herself, and sat on one of the nearby boulders. She felt bad for being foolish for exploring unknown trails. Emma should have known better. Fay lifted her head up quickly perking her ears when she heard coyotes nearby.
About 10 minutes later, Fay heard the noise of hoofbeats, and looked down at the trail seeing Clay riding Esprit. Finally! She thought to herself. Emma got up grateful, but embarrassed. She untied Fay, and mounted. Emma said nothing, and just kept quiet as she followed Clay back to the ranch.
30 minutes later they reached the ranch. Emma untacked Fay once getting off the filly, and gave her a quick grooming. In the meantime, a groom refilled Fay's haynet, and her water bucket along with a few horsey treats. Fay was placed into her stall, and even though she was exhausted, she stood with her head hanging out of her stall, and looked around.

Esprit
Esprit hadn't said much of anything on the walk back home- not that she was tired, she seemed to have never ending energy. She just noticed that Fay's rider seemed a bit uneasy, and she didn't want to make the mount fidgety. Clay seemed to catch on to at least that much, and he didn't say anything either. Esprit wished he would, she liked to listen to his soothing voice. A few people must have caught on to what was happening, because there was quite a crowd for the size of the ranch waiting anxiously for their arrival. Esprit saw Emma blush and race away to un-tack Fay, and Clay ignored the crowd to go talk to William.

Clay
He needed to figure out which horses are training when for the upcoming week, because a local show was going to be hosted at the ranch that weekend, and he had to figure out something with all the calves. There were 20 calves in the front lot that had been worked a little, and 50-60 backups in the back pastures that should be brought around soon. Clay would likely bring up 10 for training that week, and another 15 or so for the show that weekend. There was a lot to be done in little time- but Clay could manage. He just might need a little help.
Clay left to go find Emma, make sure she was okay, and give her a list of things that needed to be done by Wednesday. It was only Sunday, so Clay thought that should be manageable. The new rider/stable hand seemed to have a bit too much time on her hands, plus, it would be good for her to get around the ranch.
"Emma, here's some things that need to be done by Wednesday- hope that's all alright. If you need some help ask some of the grooms, they won't mind giving you a hand. And uh, you alright? You really shouldn't take those trails alone, even someone who's been on them for months can get lost. It's easy to do." Clay handed the list over to Emma, and ran over it one last time. Move the fresh hay bales to the loft, clean up the outdoor arena, collect all the poles, barrels, and equipment for show... "You might need some help on the last one, just give me a shout."

Trucker
Trucker Kept his Head Low, as His Long Mane Fell Just a Bit Down his Neck.. He'd Snicker As He Did a Few Flying Lead-Changes.. Suddenly A Few Friends of William Dupont Came Threw, and Welcomed Him. William Dupont Waved As William GOt Off to Put Up Some Barrels, Poles, Flags, And Maybe Around 18 Inch Jumps. Trucker Flicked His Ear, as William Got Back On After Forty Minutes.. All the Horses Were Already Tacked Up and Ready.. This was Just Some Type of Fun Event before The Show.. First Off Was Barrel Racing.. Trucker Himself Was not even Close to Being Trained for Barrel Racing.. He was Breed to Control Cows.. And Have Tough Bones and Muscular Conformation For Showmanship and Reining.. But What Did Any of That have to Do with Barrel Racing Itself..? Trucker Was Surprisingly First.. William Softly Kicked Truckers Sides, and Then put Pressure.. Trucker Went Going Off.. William Put His Outside Leg On Trucker.. Trucker did a Sharp Turn Out of Confusion And Ended Up with a Wide Turn At the End.. He Did a Quick Lead Change Which Was Hard As He was Use to Being Steady Pacing While Flying Lead Changes.. He'd Struggle and Ended Up Falling On the Second Barrel.. William Got Off, and Allow Trucker to Get Up.. William Patted Truckers Neck, and Wiped off His Sandy Sides..

William
" Sorry Bud, Maybe we wont Do Barrel Racing Ever Again, Doesn't Seem like you can mentally handle it. "
William Got Back On Trucker And Gave Him a Quick Treat.. William Stood In a Corner, Watching the Geldings and mares Run the Bourse with out Problem, Mainly Just Because Many of The Horses Did Keyhole, Barrel Racing, Pole Bending.. And He Knew One that Did Drillteam Itself. William Waited Last Until it was Their Turn for Pole Bending.. This Time He Went Slow, Just at a Basic Slow Canter.. William Asked For Lead Changes Each Turn as This was A slight Training Method, It would get Trucker Use to Constant Lead Changes and Being Quick at Them... They Went Around the Pole Slowly, Not the Sharpest Turn, But William Kept a Soft Leg, and Did it Again.. Once they Reached The End of The Pole Again and Did the Turn, William Click His Tongue and Just Asked for a Faster Canter But No where As a Sudden Gallop.. William Patted Truckers neck..

Trucker
After a Few More Easier Events, Trucker Was Being Trotted Up to a Jump.. infact His Never Jumped His Entire Life.. Trucker Ended Up Going Over the Jump Just By a Meter or So.. Trucker Fixed His Lead After the Jump and pinned His Ears
" Jumping is Hard!"
He'd Whine As he Went Over it Again Once More, Infact He Did it Better This Time After going over the Jump Once..
Trucker was Handed to Lanie After.. Surprisingly Trucker wasn't Sweating Much Because of the Easy Pace During the Events.. Trucker was Led to a Post After everyone left.. Lanie attached a Rifle to Truckers Saddle, As William Came Over with Two Pistols On each Side of His Belt.. He'd Perk His Ears.. William Took Trucker to An Outside Arena, Where Balloons On Post were Hanged.. Trucker Snickered.. His Down Mounted Shooting Plenty of Times and He Loved It! But Not as Much as Cutting Itself... Trucker Went Into the End of The Arena, and Bolted When William Clicked and Put Pressure On his sides.. Trucker Twitched His Ears, at the Booming Sounds Above Him.. He Could Hear Birds Flying Off... Suddenly, Trucker Went Into a Shocking Stop When a Clear Image of A Bear appeared.. William Took out his Double-Barrel Shotgun, and Hit the Bear Straight In the Head.. Trucker Took a Closer Look and Found out it was Just a Fake Carboard bear.. Although Truckers Heart Almost Dropped from Him, He was Fine After.. Trucker was Hosed Down, And Was Placed Into a Stall..

Emma
Emma already had her hands full, but she'd do the chores on the list to make up for bringing one of the new horses in the trails, and getting lost. "I know Clay it was foolish of me. I should have known better. I don't know what got the best of me." She said embarrassed. Emma placed the list in her pocket, and slowly walked over to Fay's stall. Fay gave a small snort as she approached. "I know girl your mad at me just like everyone else is. I'm sorry Fay, it won't happen again." she said as she reached out a hand to pet Fay, but decided not to. Emma stood there for a moment then somewhat ran away.

Fay
Fay was exhausted, and still angry. She knew her rider had years of experience by how she rode doing barrels the day before, but why did she explore unknown trails? She knew never to do that, yet she did. She was just glad they were found, and she was in her stall. When Trucker was in his stall, she tried to spark a conversation,"So, how was your day? Probably better than what mine was," she said with a snort.

Admiral
Admiral was absolutely exhausted. For the rest of the day, her and Kisa had been finishing their chores and working on commands. It was hard work, at least Admiral thought so, and she was rewarded with a nice wash, though personally she didn't think it was nice, from Lucy, who'd then led her to her stall and made sure she had fresh water and hay. As soon as Admiral was nestled in the warmth of her stall, she looked around the barn. She had no intention of making any friends. She was here to work hard and rise to the top, and if she had to shun others along the way, she thought that wasn't above her.

Koda
Koda followed after Admiral when he noticed her being taken back to the barn. He sat in front of his stall and barked at her. Admiral looked down at the corgi and greeted him. "What do you think of this place so far, Admiral?" he asked. Admiral snorted and glanced back at the barn entrance. "I don't know, it's only the first day. I guess we'll have to wait longer to see how well we fit in here" She said, turning her attention back to Koda. "Yep, you're right, of course. I, for one, like it here! I met a dog called Dozer. Maybe I'll try talking to him again tomorrow" He scratched himself behind the ear and stood up. "I got to go find Salem and get back to Kisa. See you tomorrow" Koda nodded at Admiral before he ran out of the barn in search of Salem.

William
It's been a long day.. i should head back home..
William Yawned, And Ruffed with his Fleece Shirt, and Fixed His Belt.. He'd  Get in his car, and Booted it up.. He'd Drive Out of the lawn and back onto the road.. William Ended up stopping by the gas station to get a few more drinks, and a snack for his daughter.

Lanie
Lanie Walked over to her phone, and called William.. William Answered the phone after a few Rings "Is something up Lanie?"
Williams Voice sounded Serious.. Lanie put a hand in  her Pocket and Sighed " Hey.. Can I hop on Trucker.. I promise i won't do anything stupid! " She Heard Williams Happy Voice under the Phone " Go Ahead, It'll be good for him to have different riders ride him "Lanie's Voice got Excited and Yelped In the Phone Thank you!! Lanie grabbed Trucker Halter Form his Stall and Walked In his Stall.. She'd Put the Halter on him and Walked out toward the Indoor Arena.. She'd Hop on, In which she was a little rusty from not riding in a few weeks prior.. She'd Pat Truckers Neck, as She never Rode a One Year Old Before.. Infact he Looked, and acted much older than One.. Lanie Walked around the arena on him bareback.. Luckily Trucker was Comfortable to ride bareback unlike most of the older horses she rode before. Lanie Patted his Shoulder and picked up the trot. She'd Hold on with her  Expecting Truckers Trot to bee Bouncy, in fact Lanie ended up not even to hold On.. Truckers trot was Smooth, but it felt like he was physically Lame..  She'd Stop him and Looked around at his feet... She'd Look Around for Help Suspecting that he Was Lame.. Although it was just his Natural trot.. Just Dragging his Feet on the ground and being effortless.. Lanie Called Out " Excuse me! Can i have Some Help her.. Trucker Seems lame.. Like.. Terribly Lame "Lanie was Apparently No vet but she Knew when a horse was lame.. Just never felt a horse like this with this type of trot... Which felt like he was Lame Apparently..

Emma
Emma was in hay loft still embarrassed from earlier, and she kept beating herself up. Mistakes happen, but she knew better. She looked out seeing Lanie on Trucker. Isn't it a bit late to go riding? She thought. Though, Emma would like someone else to ride Fay tomorrow not knowing how'd she act because of her mistake. When Lanie called for help, Emma was the only closest, so she fixed herself up, and walked outside.
"You said you think he was lame?' she asked once she got to the horse and rider. Emma wasn't really good with this kind of stuff, but she tried.

Fay
No sooner Fay tried to spark a conversation with Trucker, Lanie came to get him. Well I guess he can't talk now, but isn't it a bit late to ride right now? He's probably exhausted. Fay thought to herself as she turned around, and placed her muzzle in the hay net. The filly was still hungry from being lost in the woods all day. They should really put signs out there. She thought, but she was grateful to be in her stall, and not out in the woods for the night.

Lanie
" I'm Not Sure.. But whenever we were walking he was fine, until we picked up the trot, his right hind end felt stiff, and we kept on falling against that side.. And his Feet drag on the ground.. I'm not an expert at telling if a reining horse is lame because they are much different from others like barrel racers since they never drag their feet on the ground.." Lanie Sighed, Slightly Stressed If Trucker was Actually Lame.

Trucker
Trucker Leaned against his left Hind Leg, Keeping Pressure from his left Hind.. He Normally did this as He Constantly Switched Side to keep his weight off Sides.. He'd Flick His Forelock, Listening to Emma and Lanie Talk..

Emma
"Maybe he's just tired, or maybe it's just cause he's a reining horse. I mean Fay does barrels and reining. She's good at barrels, but I don't know about reining yet. I think William also said she does trail. Maybe ask him tomorrow, and see if he is or not." she said patting the stallion on the neck. "Well it's getting late I should be heading out, cya." she said as she waved goodbye before walking away.

Fay
Fay had kinda fell asleep with her head hanging out of her stall. Her ears were laid to the sides as she was relaxed. She quickly woke up, when she heard the engine of a car start up. Oh it's just Emma. She thought relieved as she saw her rider drive off. Fay looked the other way seeing Trucker and Lanie wondering what they were up to.

Lanie
Lanie Nodded at Emma, and Waved
" Have a Good Day Emma!"
Lanie Brushed Down Trucker In his Stall and Threw Him Some Hay.. She'd Refill His Water, and Patted Him Giving Him a Treat
" Don't Worry Bud, I'll have William Dupont Take a Look at You."
She'd Close the Stall Door and Turned The Barn Lights Off.. She'd Get In her Ford Truck and Headed Out.

Trucker
Trucker Found Himself Only taking a few Bites of The hay Before His Eyes Come Down..
What was all that about.. I'm not lame.. At least I think? I feel fine..
Trucker Fixed His Position, and Closed His Eyes, Falling Asleep Easily.

Fay
Fay was asleep again by the time Trucker was back in his stall. The only difference was that she was laying down in her stall, instead of sleeping while standing. Usually if a horse slept while laying down, something wasn't right. But, for Fay she was just too exhausted to stand, so she laid down. Standing still for hours lost in the woods made her muscles stiff and sore, but she should be better by morning. Fay didn't know what to think of her rider, or how to act with her now. Even though she was still angry at Emma. They would of been back by noon if it wasn't for her. Instead they got back at sun down thanks to Clay and Esprit taking no time to try and find us.
Fay woke up early that morning. She felt better, and wasn't as sore. She could Dozer coming from her collar, and knew he was probably running after something, or running towards the pond. But, he ran straight through the barn, chasing a squirrel. She gave a snort, and a stamp of her hoof. Is everything around here chaotic? She thought to herself.

Trucker
Trucker Opened His Eyes to Lanie Putting the Halter On Him.. She'd Walk Him Out to the Arena For William Dupont to See Him.. He was Handed Over to William, as Lanie Say Down On a Bench Next to The Arena As she Watched... Trucker Was Put Down Into a Circle at The Trot, And Then The Canter.. He was a Little Sloppy At First Due to Him Being Worked As Soon as He Awakened. Trucker Flicked His Ear, And Stopped, As William Disengage His Hip.. Trucker Listened to Williams Words "Don't Worry Lanie, His Just Sore In his Hind Right, But This because of him being worked everyday and him gaining muscle. And The Way he moves is natural, and just the way he moves honestly. He likes to drag his feet going slow.. "Trucker Nodded In Agreement, as He was Handed to Lanie and Placed Out in the Pasture.. It Must've Rained last Night Or sprinkled because the Grass Was Full Of Dew Drops and  the Grass Was Wet. He Was Thrown Some hay and Some Grain Was Poured With That Hay.. Trucker Nickered, As He Ate the Grain Happily

William
" Hey Lanie, Just A Heads Up, we have a Show In two Days With Trucker, So keep on making sure he isn't Lame after rides or Coming From Anywhere." Lanie Simply Nodded at William. William Threw Away His empty Bottle of Water, And Sat on his Tailgate.. He'd Talk on the Phone With His Wife...

Fay
Fay was put in the pasture, and she grazed near the oak tree and fence which held the stallions on the other side. She preferred it over there even though the stallions were annoying, but it kept her away from the other mares she wasn't ready to meet yet. She was still a bit sore, but it wasn't much. After grazing for a bit, Fay tried to spark a conversation again with Trucker. They were friends right? Nothing more, so she gave a nicker to him, "How's it going?," she asked.

Emma
Emma stood by the pasture fence watching Fay. She still felt bad for the previous day, and didn't know if she should ride her today. Sure she did, but Emma was nervous not knowing what Fay would do. Yeah she knew you gotta get back on a horse, but this wasn't falling off, this was getting lost in the woods, and being foolish. So, she sighed and walked to the hay loft, and decided to just sit on the hay and read a book for a bit. After that she went ahead and did the first task on Clay's list; move the fresh hay bales to the loft.
