[ADDED] *State which horse is selected for shows

I looked around a bit and didn't see this requested yet.

When you enter horses in shows manually, it is not clear which horse you are currently about to enter in shows. The horse at the top of the "Find shows for horse"-thingy is not the horse you have selected, and nowhere on the page does it clarify which horse you actually have selected.

This has caused unnecessary mistakes for me, and I think it would be easily solved by just adding a text like "displaying shows for [Horse's Name]" somewhere on the page (just above the available shows would be most convenient of course).

I know this is a pretty minor thing, but it's still a very real cause for annoyance and it seems like an easy thing to fix which is why I'm suggesting it.

Hm at what point does it not show the horse selected? Whenever I hand show it always shows the horse I just searched for in the box until I run out of show slots for it. Are you spam clicking the entry buttons so the page doesn't reload correctly with the used slots?

The horse in the box (the "find shows for horse"-box) always shows the first horse in alphabetical order for me. If I search for shows for a horse lower down in the list, the horse in the box will still just be the first horse in alphabetical order. This is before even clicking on any entry buttons.

So this might be a bug then and not how it's actually supposed to work?

(I should clarify that this is my other account!)

(And I could also add that this problem or bug is the same for me both on Firefox on PC and on chrome for android.)

Ohh I see now, I've always just shown in order aha. I'm not sure how it is intended to work to be honest but with how divisions are sorted at the moment I don't think it's a bug. In which case I support this!

I'll explain how it works for me, maybe it's not supposed to be this way.

Say I have two horses – AAA and BBB.

I go to "shows". AAA is the horse showing up in the box, but I select BBB and click "find shows for horse". The page refreshes. The horse in the box is AAA, even though the horse I selected – and the horse that will be entered in any show I might click on – is BBB. This is not related to spam clicking because it happens instantaneously when selecting any horse that is not the first one alphabetically.



Edit @maple Yeah I understand how one might not be bothered by this when always just going alphabetically! However, for me a lot of times there aren't enough shows available for all of my horses to fill up their 10 slots so I will have to find shows for a horse lower in the list. Especially annoying when horse AAA and ten others have no shows available and I have horses all the way down to ZZZ, haha. It's easy to lose track of which horse is actually selected :)

I believe there's an intent to change the scrollbar sorting to match division sorting, at least it was discussed in the last listening session so this could help at a later date. Having the horse you selected would be useful also.  

It really doesn't matter to me if the horses in the scrollbar are sorted by name, age or stats – the main thing for me (at least with this suggestion) is to make it clear which of all these horses is currently selected :)

As stated this is mainly an issue when there aren't enough shows to fill up all ten spots for every horse, which for me happens every day to several of my horses. That means I have to select horses way down in the list and try to keep track, an inconvenience easily resolved with a bit of text :)

Edit Might I add that this is not an issue in the training center, oddly enough – there, the horse in the scrollbar box is the horse selected. A bit funny perhaps because several horses can be entered in the same training arena, so searching by horse is not as important as it is with shows.
