UPDATE: If you do not support, please explain why. I would love to hear from both sides.

Right now to add 5 more spots to your stable it costs $1K MORE each time you do it. At the moment it would cost me $105K to add just 5 more spots. For those of us who like to have a lot of horses, and/or have breeding programs, this is getting very pricey.

My suggestion is for that cost to be lower, and a flat fee. This will allow players to be able to afford to have more horses at a more reasonable cost. Here are a few ideas:

- Charge like $5K each spot and not have it increase every time you add more?

- OR making it to where horses bred by that player (from horses on that account) don't count towards the max?

- OR possibly even removing the limit all together and your page just stating how many horses you currently have?

maybe some sort of levels?
like if you have 1-50 horses, it costs 1k per slot
51-100: 2k per slot
101-200 3k per slot
(prices are just for example)
if it were just one flat fee, I feel like that might be really prohibitive for newer players. I can't remember how much it costs when you're first adding slots though.

I think it costs $100 at first, then goes up by $100 untill you reach a spacific number of slots. After that, the cost starts increasing by $1000 each time you expand.
I might be wrong though.

I think there is a reason why it gets so pricey to expand, and honestly, I think it makes sense.  It shouldn't be easy to be able to have virtually limitless horses.

For one thing, if it were too easy to buy limitless horses, it would also end up very easy for new players to get in way over their heads, and then find themselves without the time or money to care for them all, and get discouraged, and quite possibly leave.  Not good for the game at all.

If it were too easy to buy limitless horses, then richer players could make it their goal to buy all available horses, so that all open sales had to be filtered through them.  This would obviously be very bad for the game, if someone got it in their head to do this.

Possibly even worse, it would make it very easy for kill buyers to buy up all the horses that didn't meet their personal standards and destroy them, forcing everyone else to either abide by their standards or be unable to use open sales.  As it is now, they have to waste space waiting for their horses to die before buying more, which slows them down so their impact isn't as severe.

So, yes, when you have a big breeding program (like I do) and you would really like a few more slots, it does get difficult to afford.  But to me, it is worth it.  And you can still get unlimited slots.  You just have to budget a little, or maybe sell some credits or something to fund it.  Which is totally doable if you are motivated.

In short, I think the current system strikes the right balance between the necessary slowing of ranch expansion, and still making slots available to those who want them.

You make a good point, Confessor. I have just decided to use one of the extra players we are allowed for my foals... that cuts a ton out of my main account so I am good with just doing that.
