New Business
Not too many new things to report, jsut additions to the Holiday Happenings and some upcoming

New Admin!

Holiday Happenings 
The main thread is still open! We've got the Wishlists, tag sale and free tags open until the 24th of December, the Please visit our Holiday Happenings Hub thread for more information!
*new* The Shetland Pony Club Exclusive Raffle is about to be underway! a link will be posted in the hub thread when it's ready!

Membership
During the month of December in correlation with some other SPC events we will be having a membership drive where fess will be temporarily lowered to $25 for the month.

Registration
Registration will also have a lowered fee through the month of December, set at $25! Get your horses in now for the reduced rate cost!
*new* With the addition of another admin we are going to be opening a new discussion on Registration in the new year. as of now registration is automatic with very low universal requirements, with more people to man the registry it's possible we can expand our requirements and make them take additional things into account.We'll be opening a discussion post in January to chat about this but please start thinking about what sorts of things you'd like to see!

Mascot
A new Mascot Contest is open! The month of January will be celebrating the Shortest Shetland. Check out more on the contest on the Contest page.

Coloring Contest
With the New year we're trying something new, a coloring contest! with lines made by yours truly exclusively for SPC to have fun with! The contest will be up shortly with more information!

Shetland Swag!
Are you an artist wanting to get your work out there more? I am always looking for new people to make bases exclusively for SPC. If you're interested please contact me by pm. I'm happy to pay!

Achievements/Badges/Stickers
Our badge artist still hasn't been in contact but I'm not giving up yet! We're going to try and do what we can with what we got and make the rest up as we go along!

In order to keep our post clean and uncluttered and have the most relevant information displayed, all old business has been archived in this google doc.
Admins
I would like to hire on one or two admins to the club to see how things go and have people to help out when I'm busy
Requirements:
-must be an active Shetland breeder, show us how much you care about the breed, doesn’t matter if you’re just starting or have been breeding Shetlands forever, but we want to see your dedication.
-should have the time to commit at least a little of your week towards the SPC
-be friendly, open, ready to help attitude and trustworthy

I've gotten one reply so far through the Google Forum with a note about Club Shows being $20. Since I've no idea who that person was I'll reply here for everyone to let you all no that Club shows are sadly no longer a feature of Clubs. If you would like to request shows at a certain grade, discipline and or price please head on over to the Show Creation Coalition thread and request there! you're also welcome to message me privately if you have a request for shows you don't want to share with the public. I create shows at $20 in whichever disciplines are lowest on shows in the matrix if there are no shows being requested.

Looks like our little poll is making some interesting decisions, two votes so far for raising the membership to $500, no one's bothered by membership drives, and a stat requirement is the only thing people want to see for pony registration, which two answers have said the 150 stats which it is set at is a good number. Mascot contest is split from monthly to quarterly, but there is more favor for themed contests with the ability to have set requirements once in a while. 

I'd love to hear some more input from anyone who's got some ideas!

Hi, I would love to apply for an admin position. I know I don't have many forum posts, so it looks like I am kinda new XD. But I have been playing this game for a long time and have been reading the forums more than I post :)

How long have you had Shetlands: I think for as long as I've played this game! They were definitely one of my first breeds...
Why do you want to be an admin: Many reasons, firstly that I love the fluffy breed! They are so sweet and breeders should be able to have a place to socialise and mix with other Shetland breeders. Also, they are the least popular breed in the game, and I would like to see the number of Shetlands increase. Lastly, I would just like to help new players and to create a friendly atmosphere in the club. :)
What would you like to bring to the club: I would help run contests, review pending registration, and bring new ideas for the club. I would think of exciting new ideas! I love how it is now and hope to make it even better if I were an admin :) 
Show us your Best Shetland: I bred this boy a few weeks ago. He isn't very impressive, but I have started a new breeding plan, so I hope to have better colors, confo and stats soon!
Anything else?:I am on pretty much 7 days a week and would always give plenty of time to notify you if I were to be away for a long period of time. :) I am reliable and trustworthy, and would always help a new player. :)
