    Welcome to Round Oak Acres. We strive to provide outstanding Friesians for sale and showing while working to create our own brand-new, quality lines. We are currently working to achieve the best possible conformation standards. We also breed for coloring, high stats, and all-around excellent conformation. We always aim to succeed, and performance is always a priority.

Announcements

    I am so excited to announce our first foal born with entirely good conformation! Please welcome Edward! Edward is currently mastering his foal training. When he comes of age, he will begin showing in Dressage. He will also be used as a Riding School horse to help quickly boost his stats. We are hopeful that he will show consistent improvement in the show ring. He will begin testing for potential as a stud to produce foals with good conformation when he achieves N5.
    We are also pleased to announce our first intact colt for sale: Elizor. This gorgeous colt is by our favorite Dressage Stallion, Drogo, out of the lovely Mare, Delilah. Elizor is currently mastering his foal training. When he comes of age, we recommend that he begin showing in Dressage, as he was bred to do so. He may also be used as a Riding School horse if you prefer. We believe that he will show well and will impress us all as a stud just like his sire. He has good conformation and nice stats, and he has already shown marked improvement in his stats. We are very proud of our boy, and we hope to see him go to the right home. Our Practices

    The majority of my horses are disciplined in driving, with some Friesians trained for Dressage or Show Jumping. In the future, I would like to establish a leasing program to allow new users the opportunity to show a good money earner while they are establishing their own operations. Let me know if this interests you, and if you have ideas or suggestions.
    On registration: as the Friesian Club currently does not have any standards for registration other than that the horse in question be the correct breed, I will register all intact stallions and mares which have attained N2 or higher for foundation stock, N5 or higher for their offspring, and so on. Additionally, I will register any horse with less than three poor conformation scores or with greater than 60 overall conformation average. Horses registered will also be black, as chestnuts are presently not acceptable for full registration according to FHANA guidelines.

Current Goals

    I am presently working on getting my foundation horses to their fullest potential by putting them in riding school, as it gives greater stat bonuses than showing. I am also working to establish some high Conformation and Stat lines in my Friesians. We are presently getting some very nice foals through our test breeding, and I am very excited to get these babies rolling in their training so I can work on those Stats of theirs. As I intend to breed for color as well, I hope to make a variety of colors available for sales in the future. Finally, I am impatiently waiting for the Foundies to reach the end of their careers so that I can decide which ones I will keep and which I will sell. I may do some experimental breeding in between to see what comes out, and those foals will be kept as riding school horses.
