Manual Cron Bug Board

Please post here if you encounter any bugs with the manual cron system.

Not sure if this is a bug or of any consequence, but after progress I got the message that:

You have 0 horses who have gone without full care for 3 days. If you do not care for them now they will die in the next 2 days! 2017-02-17 04:24:11

Also, they seemed to have gone hungry/thirsty before I had to click the progress button - I used auto care well before that. Yet they have gone hungry/thirsty again, requiring care again. Both vet/farrier care and actual care/treats - they have aged two days between regular Cron and Manual cron (this foal was born yesterday and seems to have aged two days now), which also means the loss of opportunity for gaining stas through showing and some missed opportunities for breeding :(

Edit: I also was online during automatic cron, and in my User Logs there is evidence that I cared for my horses, as well as (further back) that I did the same yesterday after cron.

Edit2: like MrsIvory also said, I suspect I also lost a day auto care and deluxe, but no evidence. I have made screenshots of my current days left etc. just in case and should more evidence be needed.

I was online during the normal cron time, so my horses aged without having to manually move to the new day. I was looking at someone else's horses, so I did not care for my horses right away. After a bit I received the message to click for manual cron, and now it seems my horses aged twice in the last hour?! I'm not completely sure though, as I did not make any screenshots of directly before this...

I also received the following message from the system:

Edit: my foal that was born during yesterday's cron from an outside broodmare is now 2 days old instead of 1 day old.

Edit 2: looks like I had made a few screenshots. I have also lost a day extra of autocare and deluxe, and as unlocked horses matured twice in a short notice, I missed training, showing and treating opportunities. I will lock some of my horses now, and am really curious what will happen tomorrow, as I am usually online around cron time. Is it safe to assume that lost days of autocare and deluxe will be refunded when it is all sorted? :)

^^ That bug just made me think how well it could actually work if EV did "turns". So many a day. Play as fast or slow as you wish. (Sorry for off topic but the idea seems very interesting!)

I'm not sure where my button is to manually cron?

Edit: I think I may have opted in to manually cron after they had already gone through the auto system. I'll see what happens tomorrow :)

Never noticed this before- when auto caring for my horses I got the following message: "Deadlock"

Not sure if it's related to the manual cron or not, however it is after activating it on my account.

Ryaisy, you have just made history for me. The majority of error messages that get posted on here I have seen hundreds of times before. I have never seen that one.

I will look into what could be causing it.

On the topic of the deadlock thing- I may have seen it before, actually. I think it happened when I was auto-caring one of my divisions, back before this manual cron thing. Unfortunately, I forgot to screenshot it, and it didn't reappear.

I've seen the deadlock error before as well, also while using auto care, but never got a screenshot of it either.

I just opted in to the manual cron less than an hour ago. My horses were all at 100% of happiness yesterday, I have been auto caring for them every day and treating. Now they are all at either 25% or 30%. They have all just been auto cared for and should be at 100%.

Is this manual cron having issues with auto care? How do I get them put back to the 100% they are supposed to be?

Rhapsody, it's an autocare bug which has now been fixed.

I opted in the manual cron yesterday but still haven't got any button to progress my horses?

Same here. I opted in yesterday and my horses did not age when I logged in. I see no 'rollover' type button either.

I have no clue how to manually select the cron. I am not prompted to do so nor does a button appear anywhere.

Gonna try relogging to see if that works lol

Edit: I keep my account 'logged in'. I tried logging out then back in and I still don't see an option to progress my account.

Also, I would like to note that a few horses of mine I had in auction did not sell, however I don't see them back at my stables either. I suspect I need to progress my account for them to show up again?

I too opted in for this yesterday and have no button to progress.. Also I moved some horses yesterday to a new account I created that was not opted in and those horses seem to be stuck waiting for a button that won't show on that account.
The New account that thinks it is in progression is HiddenAcresGypsys. and it is only the horses that can show that I moved there yesterday that are stuck. The tutorial horse is fine and the foals are fine
