LOOKING FOR: Digital Artist

Hey guys,

I thought I'd post here to see if anyone would be interested in a position at Equiverse - it would be a freelance role on a part-time basis (aka I would not be able to offer full time work) but this would be paid work. Fees for work are negotiable.

I am looking for digital art to match (or come close to) the style of artwork currently on Equiverse (aka the header banners, horse art, leisure riding scenery art, etc).

What will I be doing?
I can't tell you too much here as it is a surprise that I am hoping to release in the next couple of months, however I can tell you that it isn't horse or item artwork as I have artists for both of those areas in place :)

I am going to be pretty selective about what art I choose as it will be used for the game's art itself. It needs to match up with the current art quality, so I cannot say with certainty that I will definitely choose someone who posts on this topic.

I would also say, please only apply if you are self-motivated and have the time to dedicate a few hours a week (maybe more in the future if we're successful!) to EV.

I'm going to apply because it would feel silly to not even give it a whirl, so here goes. I'm doing freelance currently so it makes sense.

I'm linking to sta.sh and dA for this cause even though I have a portfolio elsewhere, it is focused more specifically on web design and some other logo/graphics work, and doesn't provide examples of this kind of digital art.

Just going to put it out there, but one of my favourite horse artists on dA has just opened up commissions. You may want to consider contacting them if they are suitable. Commission details, prices and examples of Aomori.

I know of Aomori Ulysses :) but thank you. I'd like to see if there's an artist on EV first before I outsource.

I'd really like to apply, but I live in the Netherlands, so Europe... I don't know if that would be a problem to you? Otherwise I'd like to give it a shot!

How long will this be open for? I'd like to apply once exams are out of the way and portfolios are up to scratch. ^-^

Cheyenne, I live in the UK :) so that's not a problem at all, you're only an hour ahead of me haha.

Maple; I'm always going to be on the lookout for an additional artist, but I'll probably need to close this relatively soon. I've had a couple of applications already that are pretty good, but if this is closed and your time frees up, please feel free to give me a shout to see if I've got anything available anyway :)

Hey, why not! I have a lot of places I feel need to improvement, but I'm pretty happy with my landscapes. Sadly I currently don't have any examples of bigger landscapes, nor many detailed equine pieces
