Repost Part 1 - Lunch

Magnolia (#28530)
Chase walked slowly towards the apartment door, his dog drifted by his side. The past couple of months had been long and hard. Dropping out of college, finding a job, and getting an apartment had made life difficult. Being able to keep his dog had been the only positive factor in the transition. He entered the building and greeted one of the other residents, "Hey, Nicole....."

A long straight blonde haired girl was in her apartment staring at her Iphone picture of Genesis and her in uniform. Sighing she cut it of and blinked her hazel eyes as she heard the door turn seeing Chase enter the apartment. Getting up off the couch she walked over to him and stopped in front of him "How are you?" she asked softly as she tilted her head sideways at him. Genesis barked and the German Shepherd raced to other dog giving a play bow and wagging her tail.

Chase's light grey blue eyes closed briefly as his hand swept his tussled blonde hair. "I'm all right..." he replied. He unclipped his dog, Dixie, from her leash. She bounded off to play with Genesis. "I brought lunch." he said setting a bag on the table.

Nicole smiled at him "That's good!" she said walking to the kitchen table and looking in bag and finding Chinese food and smiled at him. Taking her blonde hair and throwing it into a pony tail she got her food and sat at the table "You know this is like my favorite right?" she taking a bite and smiling to him. Blinking her hazel eyes she scanned to the door as it opened and her roommate Talia walked in with a smile. Talia smiled and blinked her hazel eyes her black hair falling into her face "Hey, Chase how are you?" she said scanning around the room maybe to see Chase's cute roommate. Genesis barked and tugged on a tug rope.

Chase smiled slightly, "Lucky guess." He slid into the seat adjacent to her and made a plate. He glanced up as Talia entered, "I'm fine. How are you?" he answered. His roommate Zander strolled in. "Do I smell food?" his face broke into a grin, "Nice to see you here, Talia." Zander was a tall buff half-grecian with wavy black hair, tanned skin, and dark eyes. He had a warm personality if not overly outgoing.

Nicole smiled as she began to eat her food again. Motioning for Talia to come sit on the other side of her she dumped the rest on her plate smiling. Talia smiled as she went to the plate "That's good Chase! Hello, Zander...." she said sitting up and proper in her chair with him around. Nicole smiled and looked at Talia now sitting straight in the chair and elbowed her softly. Talia blinked her eyes down to the plate and began to eat the lunch.

Chase held his fork above his food, "So how have you been, Nicole?" he asked somewhat shyly. He lifted his food to his mouth and started to eat. Zander pulled up a chair and began to riffle through the cartons of food, until he found some left. He then took a plate and utensil and began to eat.

Nicole smiled "Wonderful, I found a job working at a cafe and its great there..." she said taking a bite of her food and soon finishing it. Taking a glass of water she drank it to wash the food down as she smiled to Chase. Realizing she hadn't fed the dogs she got up going to Genesis and clipping her leash and smiled to them. "I'm gunna go take her back to the room she has a little food aggression it'll only take a couple minutes." she said looking to the three friends. Talia quickly got up and nudged Zander with her phone.

Zander finished his plate then glanced at Talia. "Yeah, I'll be back too." he said getting up and following Talia out of the room. Chase slowly finished his food and then cleaned up by throwing the empty chinese food cartons away and putting the dishes into the sink.

Repost Part 2 - Relationships

Nicole sat at the table in silence as Talia left with Zander to feed Genesis. Nicole smiled calling the pretty Golden to her Dixie and began to pet her. "Yah I like him too, more like love him but ya know same thing." She said smiling as she kissed the Golden on top of her head and got down on her knees to hug the golden. Talia had the leash and began to climb the stairs to the top floor with Zander behind her. "C'mon Slowpoke Genesis is hungry" she said as they reached the room.

Chase finished in the kitchen, then returned to the the table. "It's different isn't it? Not being at the academy." he said. He missed the regularity, but didn't miss the demanding assignments and stress. Dixie came over and nudged his hand. He pet her head distractedly. "I'm coming!" Zander said with a grin. He took the stairs two at a time and caught up to Talia as she entered the room.

Nicole got up and sat back on the chair close to Chase. Blinking her hazel eyes she nodded "At least I'm here with you...." she said softly as she propped her arms on the table and held her head as she looked at him. Nicole drew in a breath "C-Chase....there's something I wanna ask you... will you answer it honestly?" she asked tilting her head as she drew in a breath. Talia giggled as she opened the door going inside to the dog food container.

Chase took a deep breath. He hated how uncomfortable he felt. He nodded his head and removed his hand from Dixie to give Nicole his full attention. Zander stood back and watched. "She's a gorgeous dog," he remarked to Talia. He admired the german shepherd for her size and strength.

Nicole took in a shaky breath "What if someone....I dont know like me liked you..." she said taking her nail and biting on it as she un-did her pony tail and let her long blonde hair fall into her face to hide her hazel eyes. Nicole gulped lowering one hand and snapping her fingers for Dixie to pet. Talia nodded to him as she stepped back letting Genesis eat "She's Nicole's and sticks to her like glue..." she said going and sitting at the table "So do you think Chase is asking her? Knowing him he's probably gonna say yes." she giggled and then looked to her phone and back up "Me here my love life I can't even keep a boyfriend for a couple days..." she said crossing her arms and looking to Zander with her hazel eyes.

Chase glanced down. "I guess I'd like that...." he said hesitantly. After a space of silence, "Do you mean as in a relationship?" he added looking up with an almost hopeful expression. Dixie went over to Nicole, her tail wagging, completely oblivious to the scene taking place between the humans she loved. Zander laughed. "Only if he ever gets up the nerve!" he said with amusement. He shook his head slightly at the thought of his roommate, and crossed the room to sit at the table with Talia. "Sounds like my life. Lets say we give it a go?" he said casually asking her.

Nicole looked up smiling "Yeah..... I love you and Dixie..." she blurted out suddenly and looked down to the Golden she was petting and didn't talk. "Smooth real smooth" she mumbled not wanting to look up as she looked at Dixie and then finally looked back up "If you were to ask me I'd agree and say yes to you" she said mumbling loud enough for him to hear as she looked at Dixie and made a face as she hugged the Golden and kissed her. Talia looked at Zander with wide hazel green eyes as her mouth fell open "Zander is that your way of asking me?" giving off a giggle she nodded "Yes, Zander I'll go out with you" she said smiling and getting up as she looked down at him. Genesis finished her food and gave a bark to indicate she was done and ready to get back.

Chase felt flustered, "No...its okay." he said placing his hand over hers on Dixie. He hated discussing feeling. "Would you like to go on a date...and be my girlfriend?" he asked his voice was quiet and sincere, but was barely audible for the last part of his question. Zander nodded, his enthusiasm barely contained as he stood. "Really. I'd love to go out with you." he replied meeting her gaze.

Nicole the blonde haired looked up quickly with wide hazel eyes as she nodded quickly. "Yes I'll be your girlfriend Chase" she said moving her chair closer to his and kissing his cheek gently with a smile. The blonde hair girl felt fuzzy and warm on the inside. Talia nodded and smiled as she stood up tilting her head back to look at him better as she smiled kissing his lips softly and letting her hands lock around his neck. Genesis barked loudly and pawed at the door her tail hitting the door loudly as she let out a loud bark for it was possible for others to hear her bark in the apartment rooms below.

Chase smiled. His heart hammering, as he gently felt a strand of her blonde hair. "I'm not the best at dating, and there are some things you will need to know eventually...." his voice trailed off. Dixie's ears perked as she heard Genesis. She returned the bark and then ran to the stairs her tail wagging. Zander returned the kiss with as much passion as he could muster in the brief span of time. His attention was distracted from her by Genesis' bark. As he turned towards the door, he took Talia's hand. "I guess we'll tend to her first?" he asked.

Nicole giggled at her new boyfriend "It's fine I haven't dated much to tell the truth.." she said kissing his cheek softly again and breaking away from him as she heard the bark of her dog up stairs. As Talia opened the door she rushed down the stairs to the apartment below and barked to be let in. Talia smiled at the dog and grabbed Zander's hand and they walked down the stairs to the apartment. Stopping Talia opened the door with a smile as Genesis rushed inside to Dixie with a bark. Nicole looked to Talia as she held Chase's hand and looked at her roommate holding Zander's hand. The two girls gave a wide smile and broke away from her boyfriends going to each other and hugging.

Repost Part 3 - First Date

Magnolia (#28530)
Chase watched his new girlfriend in awe. He relaxed, slowly starting to get used to the idea. Zander went down stairs with Talia. Once they entered the main floor apartment, Dixie greeted them then rushed off to play with Genesis. Chase exchanged a look with Zander as the girls rushed to embrace. "I think we've been played." Zander mouthed with a chuckle, before resuming his usual grin. Chase nodded.

Nicole smiled at Chase the blonde haired boy and giggled "That's right and we'll be ready at 6:30 for you and Zander to pick us up!" she giggled with a smile as she called Genesis away and turned to Talia seeing what she would say. Talia nodded with a grin to Zander and smiled to both "Nicole and I will eat just about anything" she winked at Zander and followed her roommate out of the room to the upper room. Genesis barked and hurried back up the stairs her tail wagging and hitting the door. Nicole shook her blonde hair as they reached the top and entered. Talia rushed to the shower first and locked the bathroom to get ready.

Chase returned Nicole's smile with a small smile of his own. When the girls had left the apartment he turned to Zander. "So...what should we do?" he asked his roommate. Zander shrugged. "I think a nap is in order." he said sauntering into the next room and proceeding to do so. "Fine. I'll take the first shower." he replied.

After Talia had finished she walked into the walk in closet that her and Nicole shared and started looking through the dresses. Nicole stepped into the hot shower next to wash off the sweat before the date. Talia gulped digging through the dresses as she pulled out a navy blue dress and matching color high heels. Changing into the dress and shoes she looked at her self in the mirror hoping Zander would like the dress. Nicole soon got out of the shower and dried off her hair and went to the closet looking at her side that held no dresses and put on a dress shirt as Talia walked back in "Nicole your not wearing a dress shirt and pants okay..." she said grabbing a red dress and shoving it to Nicole. The blonde haired girl sighed as she changed into the red dress and matching high heels. Talia smiled at Nicole which returned the smile as they began to put on make up.

Chase finished his shower. His thoughts were absorbed with what they would do this evening. He quickly dried and combed his blonde hair. Then shaved his face before leaving the bathroom. As it drew closer to evening, Zander finally got up and went to shower. While his roommate was showering, Chase changed out of his casual clothes into formal attire. He wore a white shirt with a black suit that he had from when he had been at the academy. Meanwhile, Zander got out of the shower and towel dried his dark curly hair. He dressed in a black silk button-up shirt paired with dark navy jeans. "Are you ready?" Chase called. "Ready." Zander replied.

Nicole looked to the clock then Talia as she put on silver studded earnings and a casual heart necklace. Walking in her heels she pointed to the cage that Genesis went into immediately and locked it. Shaking her blonde hair she looked at the mirror then to Talia "Up or down?" she asked tilting her head to her friend. Talia looked over to her friend "Down and mine is going to be up because it never is" she said softly as she got the bobby pins and pinned her hair into a neat bun. Nicole looked at the clock and went to the door to unlock it so the boys could enter then went back to the bathroom to finish up. Talia went back to the bathroom putting on a simple silver studded earnings and a silver matching heart necklace.

Chase quickly let Dixie out and then locked her in his room. Zander combed his wavy curls into a more orderly fashion and brushed his teeth. Then at a little before 6:30 p.m. they left their apartment and walked up stairs to the girls' abode. Chase rang the doorbell and Zander knocked. "You know we can probably walk right in." Zander commented as they waited for the door to open. Chase shrugged in reply, he was already quire nervous.

Nicole heard the knock on the door "Come in!" she called aloud as her and Talia looked in the mirror as she heard the boys enter. Nicole blinked her hazel eyes at the mirror and gulped. Talia giggled at her reflection and went to entrance of the bathroom still hidden. "Presenting Nicole Highland you won a date with Mr. Handsome!" she called. Nicole giggled at the comment and walked around the corner with her blonde hair down and a red dress and matching high heels on. She smiled looking at her date and going over to him "Well he does sure know how to knock me off my heels" she giggled kissing him quickly on the cheek. Taking a step back she laughed "Presenting Talia Greenfield!" she took a breath and laughed "Her date is Mr. Handsome 2" she said stepping back against Chase's arms. Talia walked out of the bathroom in her navy dress and heels smiling and rushing to Zander "Someone looks cute and fancy" she said looking at him with her hazel eyes.

Chase and Zander entered the apartment. Chase drew in a quick breath as Nicole appeared. "You look beautiful!" he whispered to her. He gave her a quick hug. Zander clapped as his date Talia emerged. He grinned at her compliment. "You're quite stunning" he replied. "Shall we go?" he asked holding his arm out to escort her.

Nicole smiled at her handsome boyfriend "Well Chase I'm quite flattered thank you" she said putting her arm in his but walking quicker to get to the car. Once reaching the bottom she smiled "I'll take the back and you can sit in the front." she said going to the left side and looking at the car. Talia nodded and smiled at Zander as she giggled "I think Nicole's excited for this date with Chase." she said putting up a eyebrow and shaking her head. Talia followed him out and shut the door locking it. Finally reaching the bottom she smiled "So where are we going I placed a bet with Nicole of five dollars that you'd take us to a Mexican grill and she said a burger place!" she said with a grin and walking to the back of the car.

Chase nodded in response to Nicole. Once they reached the car he opened the door for her. Then he waited for Zander to arrive. Zander laughed slightly to himself upon hearing about the bet. He shook his head, "Then I'm afraid you're both wrong. Where we are going is a surprise." He added mischievously. As they neared the car, Chase and Zander exchanged glances. "I'll drive." Zander offered. Chase nodded in agreement, and went around to the passenger side of the car.
