Starting a new job today!

Hello all! 

Today I start a new job, my second real job and if were honest the first one lasted only 3 shifts before Corona cutbacks. I did orientation yesterday and tbh I'm still crazy nervous. I'm working at Old Navy now low level ik but great clothes and a good atmosphere make it about as good as I can get. Plus the 50% of employee discount and other perks never hurt anyone. The point is any tips or tricks, comments or questions? Maybe talking about it will soothe me a bit lol.

If you're unsure of anything, ask straight away or when appropriate, even if it sounds silly! It'll ease any worries and help you do your job better if you're not fretting about doing something right or wrong. Also ask to be shown the proper way if  anyone mentions doing a shortcut it involves any paperwork or stock handling, shortcuts may be faster but it always messes up rotation and delivery in my job >:I

Good luck with your new job though! You'll feel at home before you know it.

Congrats!! Honestly, I still get very nervous when starting a new job, but once you get settled, the nervousness should ease. Being nervous is understandable!

50% off is a great discount! It is so great you have been able to find a new job so quickly. And everyone starts at the bottom, but rhat doesn't make your job any less improtant!

im so excited for you bonnie!! i have an interview tomorrow at Dairy Queen for my first "real job" as well c: i hope Old Navy treats you well and that you end up loving your job. Im crazy nervous about my interview so i understand exactly how you feel!! Youll do fantastic dont stress ♥
