I do both. I riding school everyone until they're nearing the top of their grade's stat range and then start showing them! Once they upgrade to the next level, its back to riding school until i can repeat the showing again.

I do a mix of both. When my foals have completed training and are 3 years old I show them for about a week and those that do well in shows I will continue to show. Those that don’t do as hot I put in riding school, along with my other horses. (I breed Andalusians but have other breed horses that I keep for leisure purposes- I put the leisure horses in riding schools.)

I am just starting out and most of my horses are not at a high enough level to competet with others in shows, so I am just wasting the entry money. Riding school helps build things up and earns soem money too which is nice, until I get to a point where I have some horses worth showing.

I use riding schools because I find it just simpler and I get major stat boosts which really helps new members like me.
