Flash floods??

#223116 Posted on 2020-05-20 09:50:30

So, where i live, its been raining for the past 2 days non stop and now they just announced a flash flood warning. Luckily our house is on the top of a hill, and we have a pond, so the water will not stay at our house and damage it, i hope. Hoping for the best, so if I'm not on tomorrow my wifi has probably went out, cause it does that when we have bad storms a lot.

Oh the smell of rain! I loveeeee the smell of rain! (: Well plants are gonna enjoy the rain, however you guys are probably sick and tired of it and just want the rain to end. That is good you live on a hill, your higher up off the ground so you are a little bit safer than the other people who just have there house on a foundation that's just on the ground and like NO HILL at all! (All houses are build on foundations) but its better that your on a hill, so the water can't get to you as fast! :)

I love it when it rains!! However, thunderstorms scare the be jeepers outta me, I have always been scared of thunderstorms ever since I was a little girl and now I'm 18 and still scared of thunderstorms! Hahahahah. The rain water is wayyy better for your plants and the garden, because unlike tap water the rain contains small amounts of Nitrogen, in the form of nitrogen gas (N2), ammonium (NH4) and nitrated (NOx). The rain water is also good very good because it contains lots of nutrients and is FREE of salts and other harmful elements. (I knew a little bit about the rain, but I did have to google what the rain water contains, as I am not a genius and I wanted to tell you the right facts)

Hope you and your family along with everyone else where you live stays safe!

Thank you!!! We usually watch a movie together or play board games. Sometimes the water will go over the pond dam, hoping that doesn't happen. The dam has gotten a little weaker over the years, so I'm hoping it doesn't break cause we have a barn and pasture, trailers and a bunch of other things behind the pond dam. So, just praying its not gonna be bad! thank you!! ♥
