What is it?
The EVEA is a club created for all endurance trainers.

What are the costs?
The EVEA has a $500 one time fee. And then a $100 automatic registration fee per horse.

What are the requirements?
For a horse to be part of the EVEA, they must have endurance listed as their specialty and must be at least Novice 2. We didn't want this to be too hard to achieve but wanted to make it so at least some effort went into registered horses!

Are there any rules?
Just the basics. Like "be nice" "be supportive" etc. 

What do you guys do?
Well, as of right now, nothing! I'm planning a couple of different types of "improvement" contests. Once we get a few more members and registrations, I'll start jumping head first into this and making our first contest and newsletter.

Any contests at the moment?
No, but our 100th horse registered will be our mascot for the month of May! We're already at 22 so just 78 more.


That's all I have for now. I'll update this once I get a badge and a layout image done. And/or when our new mascot is found!

June Mascot Contest

For the June Mascot Contest, we're running a random raffle-esque contest. It'll be very simple and very easy: enter a horse a cross your fingers. At the contest's close, I'll be using a random number generator to decide the winner and they'll be the mascot for the rest of June. Plus there's a very lovely prize of 5,000 EVD.

Entries for this close on June 1st.

July Mascot Contest

For the month of June, we'll be running an improvement contest! I'm sure there's a better term for it.

How this will work:

On June 2nd at about 20:00 EV time, I will take a screenshot of every horse entered. 

On June 30th at about 20:00 EV time, I will compare the stats of the screenshot to what exists at that point.

How you will win:

For every stat gained in Endurance and Intelligence, your horse will receive 1 point.

For every stat gained in any other section, your horse will lose 1 point. (Gotta promote that low NSS)

For every training level gained, your horse will receive 1 point.

The horse with the most points wins.

The prizes:

First place is 50,000 EVD and the title of July's Mascot.

Second place is 20,000 EVD.

And third place is 5,000 EVD.

One stipulation:

Your horse must be under 16 years of age. This is to make sure they can still breed at the contest's close since this is about promoting improvement within Endurance.

So if you're interested in joining and entering, you have until June 1st to get a horse into the pot.

I would like to participate in the "July Mascot Contest" too, I will probably just create a horse from the EC to use, so I probably won't win on the nss thing! I am all for participation though. Count me in.
