So I decided to go with an art club! Thank you to everyone who filled out the survey. But before I go creating the club, I want to yours guys input on everything. I have another survey up to get some of your input on things. Only take the survey if you intend on joining, or if you think you would be interested in the future! Please note, I am not try to copy the EVAC, I just thought it would be nice to bring in another art club, because I am more involved with art then the sim ponies here....
My Plans (based on the survey previously and new ideas from current survey):
- mascot contest (please answer the question involved with this in the survey!)
- Forum to share wips and completed art pieces
- Contests (will gather ideas!)
- All sorts of art is welcome! Digital (characters/designs, manips, sig, tag, large-art), traditional art, writing etc....
- Every one may participate in contests, but same may be directed toward a certain kind of art, but I will provide other contests for those that are not included in the main contest! (I will write either Digital + Traditional + Writing Only, Digital + Traditional Only, Writing Only.
- Maybe do a secret santa event within the group (art pieces only!)
- Giveaways (this has to be supported by the community as a whole, I would like others to also contribute to prizes)
- Art Prompt raffle. The idea is that a prompt would be given (voted on as a community)
- Maybe have a volunteer "board" of members that will gather together to help others with learning how to make art. Helping direct members to tutorials, possibly sending up screen sharing videos (Join.Me, etc..) to help teach them as well! Any amount of people can join and help others! (Digital or Writing, will welcome tradtional artists but not sure how well that would work). Not sure how I would do the writing portion but we will work it out (if you have ideas for this include it please in the survey below!)
- Weebly Site. This site would be linked on the club page. It will have a list of members, as well as what kind of art they do. If you offer commissions, I will have a seperate page for you that has all of your prices (you can message me if this changes) or if you have the prices listed on your page, I will link it to your page. If you have a deviantart, I can link to your deviantart as well! I can post your examples there as well if you would like. I can add a gallery for each member if desired (this is not a permanent place to keep your art, I may have to remove some art if it gets to be to much, but I will keep it up to date with the latest art pieces)!
- Awareness Month. We will vote on which awareness we would like to pick. Entered into a drawling for art entries. (Prize maybe an awareness tag or character)
I will be looking for admins (active members on both EV and in art in general), so message me if you would be interested! I would like atleast an admin per a type of art (Digital, Traditional, Writing, etc..). Working on Admin duties list now :)
Post below, message me, or include in the survey with ideas! If you would like to join and be notified if/when the club is created, let me know!

Still need people to fill out the survey so I get an idea of what you want! Please specify breeds of you want a breed based club as well as what stat and confo requirements what type of markings, specialty, otherhorse requirements, etc... For art clubs you don't have to put this but please include what you want to see. Feel free to make comments below or message me if you don't want to do the survey or can't!
I have decided to do an art club thank you everyone!
