Your Happy Song

So in these challenging times I got to thinking how important music can be in lifting your spirits. I also got to being nosy about what song other people play/listen to, to cheer themselves up when they are down. 

Feel free to list more than one & even give an explanation (if you want to) as to why it makes you happy.

So the song I always smile or laugh to when I hear or play it is Katy Perry's California Gurls because me & my own gurls rewrote the lyrics to suit our location when it first came out & we always dance like loons & shriek at the top of our voices (usually not sober ahem) our version of the song. And it reminds me of every single fun night we had as a gang of 5 (RIP Bex xx)

I also can't help but dance like a loon to Happy by Pharrell Williams because well, it tells you to be happy sooo…. plus I love the Minions so its win/win! Honestly as soon as I hear the first bar... its embarrassing :)

Honestly, my playlist will give you whiplash. One minute you're listening to Africa by Toto and the next song is literally I Hate Everything About You by Three Days Grace. 

Any of those really iconic pop songs that everyone knows from the late 2000s or early 2010s. They make me a little nostalgic and there are some absolute bangers.
Or, alternatively, This Year by The Mountain Goats.

Superfly by Blessed gives me boss energy and happiness, I love Radioactive it reminds me of sports and I am liking Love To My Cobain lately too

I can get into any drum n bass, hardcore dance/techno, gabber etc.
