Foals having specialties

So I have a few foals with specialty. It is all fine and dandy when it is the specialty I want. They are quite "older" foals as in bred a while ago. Has this topic been visited before? I was just going to convert the specialty once the horse turned 3. I also have a few with tack on them and they look slightly ridiculous, but I have no way of removing it.

^{What do you need help with? You seem to know what it's all about already. It's a known 'issue' but not really a major one when it's fixed with converting/non-issue once they're three years old- and should disappear once older foals are all unlocked (if ever).}  

Just need confirmation that is the only way to fix it.

Waiting until the foal turns three is the best bet. If anything gets stuck or doesn't go right please let us know via a game Support Ticket.
