*Tagging system in forums

I think we should be able to tag members in posts on the forum and have it show up as a notification. It would be really helpful for art sale pickups, club contests, etc. 

Edited to add there should definitely be an option to turn off the notifications :)

No support. This seems like an easily spammable thing which I would NOT appreciate. Plus, this isn't a social media platform....

Anyway, fully support. It's been a great help on other forums/pet sites I visit and I'd love to have it here. If you're worried about spam, there could always be an included option to turn it off.

Total support this would be so nice to have and eliminate wasted time. 

Just out of curiosity, how is EV a social media platform? It has a social aspect, sure, but it is, by design a game. I don't see EV on the same level as like Twitter and Fakebook. 

Also, no support. I don't see how this would better the game at all. There are so many other aspects of the game that need improving, not to mention adding new features. How hard is it for people to check the forums, really. Not very.

At this day and age, yes, we are in a social media time and this is just a normal appearance in most young people’s lives now. I mean, we now have the function of liking posts here.. that’s a social media thing.
Also, I can see this being abused/spammed in a sense. Especially for RPs. Overall, I think I am more leaning towards yes on this just because, that’s how technology is leaning these days.
But maybe it would be possible to turn notifications off if people were to tag you and you don’t want to be notified. Idk, just a theory! Maybe you just turn notifications off from certain people or something
At the same time, I believe it is possible to search usernames in the keywords sections in the forums and find a username in a post. It can be very tedious this way however

I think I'd support this if we have options for turning it off completely/partially, and if you've blocked someone you won't get notifications about their tags towards you.
