RIP Leroy♥

Hello everyone...… 
I have some very sad news... As you all know from my previous post that I made awhile back, well today is the day that I lay my SWEET BOY to rest :(

I saw him last night and said my goodbyes and gave him lots and lots of hugs and kisses and thanked him for everything! Your probably wondering why I am not with Leroy right now, well that's because I don't want to see all the things that happen when he goes down because they don't go down easily and I don't want that stuff to be my last memory of him so that's why I saw him last night.

Thank you Leroy for being the best horse I could've asked for, I honestly couldn't have asked for a better horse! Thanks for all the amazing memories and for being my best friend! I love you so much Leroy!! ♥

Its not going to be the same without you Leroy!!!! I am going to miss you like crazy but I know that you are no longer in any pain and your up with God and you'll be alright!

What happened?!

@Mattie - He has a pinched nerve in his neck and he is in a lot of pain from that pinched nerve and if I was to get surgery on him it would kill him and I am not doing that so I decided to have him be put to sleep so he isn't in anymore pain! It was really hard seeing him in pain and I don't like seeing him like that so it was time to put him to rest! :(

Oh, I'm sorry.  I had two horses put down when I was a little smaller and I know how it feels.  We're here if you need someone.

@Mattie - Thank you! Its not a good feeling at all when you have to go through something like this! It honestly breaks my heart but I know that he is not longer suffering or in anymore pain and he is up with God

@Bubbles - Thank you, yes it TOTALLY does and its so tough too!! I wish that he didn't have to go so soon, but he was just in too much pain and seeing him like that breaks my heart! It kills me just thinking about how much I am going to miss my boy!! But I know he is in a better place with God and he's no longer suffering

I totally understanding wanting your last memory of him being the best memory you can get. I had to put my horse down last year and couldn't be there when he was euthanized for I know I would just break down and I didn't want that memory of him. A very kind neighbour was there with him and the vet so he at least wasn't alone.

@Siren - Thank you!♥ Yes he is in a better place now and I am very thankful for that as he isn't suffering anymore!! Awwwww I am so sorry to hear about your horse, its really tough when we have to go through difficult things like putting our best friends down! Exactly that's why I wasn't there with him today because I knew that I would have had a broke down and I don't want bad memories of him, cuz once you've got bad memories in your mind you can't get them out.

If you ever need anyone to talk to, I am here!! I lost my best friend when i was seven. We had to sell her. She was a paint mare. Then my cousin had an amazing horse, and she was really old. She was really sick, then one day we went to feed her and she was on ground, she had already passed. I am here to listen if you need it :)
