disappearing

hey all,

so I'm gonna take some time off the forums and may only come in to collect daily interest. I just have so much going on right now. About 8 hours ago I was driving home from a roadtrip I took to visit family about 4 hours away from home. about an hour out my steering wheel lost control and my car rolled. 

The car had landed drivers side up, passenger side down. the passenger side window had smashed. I turned my car off, unbuckled, and fell to the window. I crawled out, grabbed my phone and a lady pulled me away because my car almost immediately caught fire. 

The paramedics checked me out and I am all okay. They were kind of shocked how calm I was in the situation and how rational I was. My heart rate was normal and I didn't panic at all. I sat with the lady and paramedics and we did joke a bit (wow my music must've been really lit etc.) until the fire truck showed up and the police. 

Apparently my car was a ticking time bomb, and should've never been certified, saftied, or on the road. The man we bought it from poorly checked it over and yeah, ticking time bomb. 

I lost a cake in the fire, rip. 

Everyone was telling me that the situation was really bad and they were all surprised how uninjured I was, they were expecting a lot worse from the whole situation. They don't think the airbag went off, but they can't tell for sure because my car happens to be a little crispy..

My family I was visiting picked me up from the police station and took care of me until my parents could come get me. I'm at home now, and uninjured, just stiff and scratched. 

we are gonna have a chat with the seller tomorrow. my dad is p*ssed at him because they were buddies and my dad trusted him, but this happened. We're still deciding on whether to put an investigation on him and/or the accident because of money reasons, but yeah. 

That was my lit night.

Wow that's awful! I am sorry to hear you went through this. Glad your ok! RIP cake

Oh goodness... yeah I'm surprised you didn't have any head trauma or anything. Most of the time when cars roll people get injured so you were lucky I think. So glad you're okay!

I'm so glad that you are okay and you were able to get out of the vehicle before it burnt up! I was actually in a roll over accident when I was 16 and was completely uninjured as well(wasn't wearing a seatbelt so really thankful it wasn't worse). 

Hopefully things get figured out with the person that sold you the car. Just really really glad that it wasn't worse and that you are okay.
