training progress

Please explain it to me, because I can't figure out all those codes....

one horse displays for example:

Negative EXP appears if your horse is still gaining EXP after it hits 100% for that grade, it can't go up in grades until you manually do it yourself but the horse isn't prevented from earning EXP in the meanwhile. The negative EXP is just what has been earned past the current grade, and will be applied to the next grade one you click the improve grade button.

<sup>Those stats are for the arena itself to be upgraded, it's not relevant to the horse's stats. 

When it reaches 100% it can be upgraded to the next level, i.e novice to local. Negative exp is just when horses are trained there after it reaches 100%. For example my international arena shows:

Grade International Experience 28374 (100%) EXP Required 1875 EXP Left -26499

It can't be upgraded anymore but will display negative exp as I still train horses in it.
