  A nuclear explosion has mutated all the horse in the world, changing them into anthropomorphic animals, mystical creatures, and even straight up monsters. Many people have started using these horses in races, shows, and even fights. The town's annual horse race is coming up, and everyone is excited to compete, including you and your horse. The small town only has one boarding stable though, and you're always around the competition and their horses. Will you make them your friends or your enemies? The choice is up to you.

Name: Nicholas Carden [aka Nick]
Age: uhh 24
Gender: male
Appearance: Nick is tall, standing at 5'11". He has a short, fluffy mess of curly dirty blonde hair and warm hazel eyes. He has fair skin, no piercings, and freckles that appear sometimes.
Personality: Nick is honest, sometimes brutally so, but he means well. He pretty much just likes to hang out and have fun with his life because he's the most normal one in his family. He breeds homing pigeons, which originated as a college project, but his pigeons basically own his soul now.
Motivation to win: the dead spirits of his family members are counting on him to be a successful racehorse trainer... that's pretty much it
Horse: Historic Flame

Name: Historic Flame [aka Histor, Hist, Annoying Waste of Time]
Age: 4 years old
Gender: gelding
Breed: Thoroughbred
Appearance: He's a pretty big horse, standing at 16.3hh, with a thick mane and tail that Nick tries to keep cut short so that Hist doesn't end up ripping it out while doing something stupid. He is fairly muscular, though not incredibly so, and is bay in color. His only white marking is an ankle sock on his front left hind leg... Yes, you read that correctly. He has two pairs of hind legs, which means that he has two on each side of his body, with one being slightly in front of the other. Despite that, he only has one pair of forelegs, just like any normal horse would. His front hooves are shod, but none of his hind hooves are, and he has a registration tattoo on his upper lip. The irises of his eyes are an unnatural brown/green hazel in color, which makes him look strangely human. Oh, and his tongue is really long and slightly pointy. It's literally 1'4" long.
Personality: Histor is the type of horse that will do whatever it takes to get what he wants, which usually involves him annoying his handler until they give in. He is very intelligent, which oftentimes ends badly for any humans involved. He uses his long tongue to unlock gates and latches and to snatch treats from Nick when he's not looking. He's not at all competitive (unless it's a race to the food bucket), and is incredibly stubborn and lazy.

Gender: female 
Appearance: Tall at 6’6. Long dark blonde hair to her waist. Ice blue eyes. Tanned. Many many scars. 
Personality: loner type, rather quiet, but fairly easygoing. Although if you make her mad either be ready to run or fight. 
Motivation to win: Just for fun

Gender: mare
Appearance (Including all mutations): Pitch black mare. Abnormally tall at 22hh. Ice blue eyes to match her riders. Well muscled horse with a long, slightly wavy mane and tail with silver streaks in it, and Marwari type hooked ears. The mutations made it so when angered, she can strike lightning from her hooves. 
Personality: Much like her rider. Very spirited and high strung horse, will not tolerant anyone else riding her, and will attack on Outlaw’s command.

Name: Rosa Trotter (Rosie)
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Appearance: Rosie has pale skin covered in freckles and strawberry blonde hair. She's rather short and curvy, and she has grey eyes.
Personality: Rosie is very nice and sweet. She is offended easily.
Motivation to win: She wants to prove herself
Horse: Burger Burger

Name: Burger 
Age: 15
Gender: Stallion
Appearance: Burger Burger is an obese bay horse with a green mane. He also has a pair of tiny wings that allow him to hover over the ground, but it takes a lot of energy.
Personality: Burger Burger is lazy, but very affectionate. He doesn't really care about his low scores in shows.

Name: Janine (Jane) Cantrell
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Appearance: Jane has shoulder length-ish messy dark hair and bright eyes, with a big crooked grin amd a handful of freckles. She stands at roughly 5'9.
Personality: With a loud and boisterous personality, Jade can appear unaproachable, but really she's just a messy girl with a messy personality that has no idea what she's doing with her life.
Motivation to win: Everyone having to accept the monstrous but lovable Monroe as the winner and an actual animal with feelings? Absolutely the goal
Horse: Monroe

Name: From Below (Monroe)
Age: 6
Gender: Genderless
Appearance (Including all mutations): Monroe (or Marsh, as Jane affectionately nicknamed them) is just an updated version of the kelpie legend, and bears a slick, brown/black/grey coat resembling a seals, with a massively muscular tail (not unlike that of a lizard) draped in a long dark hair, same with their mane which drags on the ground but refuses to have cut. If you can ever see Monroe's face, you might just catch a glimpse of luminescent light eyes, and the sharp retractable teeth that are longer than Jane's arm. They stand at 18.2hh, and have a carnivorous diet - Jane needs to religiously keep up their routine feedings or she might just lose an arm on accident.
Personality: All being said, Monroe is less terrible than they sound! They can be heavily standoffish to anyone they don't know, and will not hesitate to snap at people, but other than that they're just a gentle giant much like a dog.

Motivation to win: Just for fun, but it would be nice to have some pocket money to pay off for board.

Appearance (Including all mutations): Pretty much turned into a dragon. He has blue scales all on his body, wings, claws, and can breathe blue fire. He also has a sword on his snout. Stands at 21 hands. 
Personality: He is also laid back like his partner, he needs a reason to use his weapons as he doesn't want to randomly spew fire every where. He also has a sense of fair play and is absolutely loyal to his owner.
