Pegasi of Ogen

The world has been overrun by monsters- some good, some bad. Humans cannot understand the difference between the light and dark, nor can they control their lust for power. In the midst of the chaos, the King himself issued an order of peace, but the people rebelled, causing slaughter to both man and nature alike, and starting a revolution of spilled blood. 

Now, with King Darion murdered, and his brother ascending to the throne, the new King has called for order in the world- a world now becoming flooded with the reality of death and decay. "Monsters" have been banished to a land named Ogen- a land dark with fear and burned with the fire of fury. Pegasi are the only creatures who have managed to survive here, winging their way into human territory to either be slaughtered or to go back to Ogen with just enough to survive another day.

But are all the humans truly cruel, or can they restore faith with the Pegasi, starting a new world?

Rules:

No godmodding, swearing, etc.

You may not kill off characters that are not your own without the other players approval

Romance is allowed, but keep it PG please

This is (obviously) a somewhat violent rp, but please do not do anything over the top violent

Alrighty, let's start!

Mistle
Mistle looked up in the sky. He tossed his thick mane out of the way to see it was all clouded up. Such a gray sky always put him in a bad mood. He softly flapped his wings once or twice. Nothing beats a good stretch, that's for sure. He thought, trotting off; ducking under a low branch.

Phantom Gunner
She made her way through the forests, alert yet at ease in the darkness that shielded her perfectly. She moved up into a lope leaping over a fallen log that blocked her path. 

Glory Gunner
She stood beside the small pond, watching the goldfish playing in its clear waters. She gently shook out her silky mane, content that it was quiet. 

Uehara

Uehara walked at a slow pace, his hooves cladding with the hard surface of the Earth. Letting out a snort, he stretched his obsidian wings, flapping them softly before folding them back against his body. Lowering his muzzle, he took up a bite of grass before started back at a walk towards the pond. He stopped in his tracks among the tall brush when his eyes came upon a mare. He ignored her presence anyhow and walked up to the waters edge taking in a large gulp of water.

Nao

Nao trotted along, her head held high as she outstretched her wings and glided into the air. She hadn't a clue where she was or where she was going, but she was letting the wind carry her. She descended in a space between the trees, her surroundings eerily quiet. Shaking her mane, her ears swiveled in opposite directions as she listened around. Nothing. Laying on the soft grass, she closed her eyes, wanting the sun to appear and warn her gray coat that matched the color of the sky.

Dionah
The gold-coated pegasus fluttered her wings a little, jumping off the ground and flying low to the ground for a while. She saw a few other pegasi farther away in the sky, and curved towards them. A chilly breeze made her shiver, and the clouds and greyness made her depressed.

Summer
Summer tied her fluffy, red hair back into a ponytail, using the last hair tie she had. She was assuming the tie would snap at any moment soon, and she wasn't please to know it. The girl vaulted over the gate expertly, her deep, brown eyes on the Island across the water. The water was its normal gray color; the Island of Ogen looking no different. She wondered how Pegasi, being such majestic creatures, could live on such a deserted, rugged piece of land. Or were the Pegasi really monsters, and the king was right to banish them?
Summer moved quietly over to the water, letting her boots sink into the muddy sand that was so generously the water's food. She glanced around to see if there were any patrols out- none this early in the morning- then began to quietly work on the raft she had been creating.

Aria
Aria flapped hard. She soon was in the air above the treetops. She snorted and tried flying around a bit. Come on, Aria. Keep going. She told herself silently. She flapped with all her might. I can show them I can really fly. Far. Aria wasn't thinking about somebody in particular, but she was determined. I can fly far if I practice hard. It was hard to fly, especially high, when the sky was so cloudy. So this was the perfect time for her to prove to herself that she was good with her wings.

Mistle
Mistle leaped over a large log blocking his path. He looked up and saw another Pegasus soaring in the air above him. He ignored it and looked straight ahead, and trotted away. The wind blew hard. It him feel like he should be up there, riding the wind. But he hadn't eaten for hours so he willed himself to bend down and graze a little.  

Gunner
She looked up from the fish when a stallion came up to drink, then her attention back to the waters, lowering her muzzle to the water and swishing her tail cheerfully when a fish came up and touched it. 

Phantom 
She finished grazing, shook herself off, then reared and leaped into flight from her rear, her large black wings propelling her expertly above the tree line. Their blue and silver tips glowed in the gray light as she weaved back and forth among the fluffy gray clouds.

Uehara

Uehara raised his head, shaking his knotted mane. He looked back to the mare close by, watching her as a fish came up to her. He walked a few paces away, lowering his head and beginning to graze from a small patch of grass, not at all worried about the mare nearby. She looked far more interested in playing with the fish anyways.

Summer
Summer finished the part of the raft she had been working on, covering it with ferns and bushes to keep it hidden in its natural environment. She looked back over the water once more to the island, then dashed back through the jungle to keep out of sight of the border patrol.

Phantom
She flew to a more secluded section of forest, made sure it was safe, then tucked her wings and dove down in between the trees, landing expertly. She glanced around. Good, no danger or other pegasi.
