Only The Strong Survive

Welcome to Seattle, Washington. We used to be know for rain, coffee, and beautiful scenery. Now not so much. As long as you don't mind being on lookout at all times, this is the place for you.

A year ago, you woke up one morning to find your entire town abandoned. After some time, you realized the zombie apocalypse has started. You wandered along and found a group traveling to safety. You were the only survivor of that group. You kept going and found another group.

Your group has found a somewhat secure place to stay at the moment. It has a small river for washing clothes, a cement building to live in, and strong fences. As long as you fulfill your role, you should be fine.

Rules:

1. I ask you guys to please try to use good grammar, but there are no penalties if you don't.

2. Yes, this is like The Walking Dead, but you don't need to have watched it. All you need to know is zombies only die when they are shot/stabbed in the head. Every person that dies (unless they are shot/stabbed in the head) becomes a zombie.

3. Please keep violence PG-13. If you read these please put Zombies in the "Other" part of the form.

4. Romance isn't encouraged, but if you decide it is worth it, (be warned, people can die) please keep it PG

5. You may kill your own characters, but not others unless the player said it was ok in the form.

6. There is no electricity so that means: no computers, phones, lights, water and other things.

7. Please have fun

Angelica
Angelica woke up gasping and looked around the cement building the group was sleeping in. She believed it had once been a police station, so it had lots of nice rooms and walls. She got up and packed her backpack. Trying not to wake anyone, she walked outside.

Matt
Matt heard Angelica get up, but he rolled over and groaned. He had never been a morning person and the thought of the walkers outside really didn't seen enjoyable. He opened one eye and looked around at the others in the camp

Outlaw
She trudged warily through the woods, pistols at ready and her rifle slung acros her back. There seemed to not be as many in the woods, which was good, as she was dog tired from her constantly moving. No where was safe to sleep to now. A flame stabbed from one of her pistols and another zombie went down with a hole through the head. She numbly shelled more ammo into the pistol and continued on, pausing to check the coast was clear before carefully exiting the forest. She stopped to take a small sip of water from her canteen and washed it around in her mouth to help moisten it then swallowed and tucked the canteen back away. Make it last long as she could.

Angelica
Angelica heard the gunshot. She watched the forest for movement and pulled her bow to aim.

Outlaw
She took a couple steps into the open then caught the shape of a bow an arrow and dove back into the trees, pressing herself against one and waiting. She palmed off another shot at an approaching zombie, hitting it directly through the head, then carefully peered around the tree trunk to directly locate the person who held the bow and arrow.

Angelica
Angelica shot a couple zombies near the girl in the woods. She gave the girl a look and lowered her bow

Outlaw
She watched the girl, determining wether she was a threat or not, and shot three zombies without looking, each shot hitting them in head.

Angelica

Angelica nodded and motioned with her head toward the gate.

Outlaw
She eyed the girl again then started trudging wearily towards the gate, shooting down ten more zombies before she reached it. She stopped outside and swiftly thumbed more shells into her pistols.

Jade
She woke, a yawn already forming on her lips even as she sat up. The empty home that had housed her for the night made a weird feeling creep up her spine. It looked lived in, except for the fact a thin layer of dust had now coated everything. A once normal family, it appeared. The bed Jade had slept in the previous night was that of one of the children, most likely a young teen. She shivered and got up, walking out of the room. The sooner they left here, the better. Jade wandered down into the kitchen and sifted through the pantry. A box of granola bars, half empty, was picked out, as well as a bag of nuts. Jade stowed the nuts into her backpack, pulled two granola bars from the box and then dumped the rest into her pack as well. She looked out the window, searching the yard for any zombies. They still unsettled her, despite how many she had seen so far. Her sword she had had to swap out for a regular steel one. She yawned again and opened one granola bar, taking a bite.

Alex
He attempted to opened the front door of the house as quietly as possible, with his main method to just shove his weight at it as he turned the handle, but the swollen wood stuck to the frame. He pushed a little more, and the door eventually opened. "Honey, I'm home!" He joked, slinging the bag from his back onto the dust caked table and coughing a little as the grime swirled into the air, grinning at Jade when he saw her in the kitchen. "I found a couple cans of food, and some jerky but," He winced. "Still no water."

Jade
She laughed, waving her hand through the air to try and dissipate the dust [but possibly just making it worse]. "There were some granola bars and a bag of nuts left in the pantry." She slid the other bar toward him. "No water here, either." Jade could really go for a nice, ice cold soda or Gatorade right now, but of course that was unreasonable. She finished off her granola bar and dumped the wrapper in the trash bin. Spotting a dormant refrigerator, Jade cracked it open. An old jug of milk [ew], some rotten fruit and vegetables, condiments. No water here, either. Jade sifted through the produce and found three relatively good apples. She stowed those in her bag and closed the fridge. "Its so weird just taking things from these houses. And living in them for a little while."

Alex
He took the bar, peeling the wrapping from it and replying around his mouthful. "I'd rather here than a supermarket, though." He mumbled, swallowing thickly so he could actually make coherent words. "But you're right, it is kind of weird, isn't it? Especially when you see all the photos of their family."

Jade
She nodded, leaning against the counter despite the fact it would leave dust on her clothes. Her hands moved to pull her hair up into a ponytail. "Don't talk with your mouth full, Alex. Its the zombie apocalypse, not the Stone Age." She grinned.

Alex
"Sorry, Mom." He scoffed, binning the now empty wrapper and sticking his tongue out at Jade. "Anyways, I'm going back to bed." After searching the surrounding houses all last night, he didn't even begin to feel bad about going to sleep at what his body clock was guessing was about ten in the morning. "There aren't many infected around here yet, so we should be fine for another few hours."
