#13488 Posted on 2016-03-02 02:42:38 I have created a program to produce simple customisable deluxe layouts for use on Equiverse, available at the below link. All you have to do is specify the parameters you'd like for your layout, and it will generate both the code and a preview of your new layout. Once you're happy with it, simply copy the code to your page, and untick the box labelled "automatic lines". I'd love to see what you guys come up with, so if you use this generator please show me your new layout. :) Rules This is entirely free, but you can only use it on Equiverse. If you know your way around code you are welcome to modify the layout further, so long as you still credit me with the code I made and you don't charge anyone for the result, or incorporate parts of it into a layout you sell. Credits I have made all the layout code, all the code for the layout generator, and the background images in the layout (all stock images used are credited on the images). It is modelled after the first layout generator I made, which you may know from the pre-recode version of Equiverse. It is coded in HTML and Javascript. Frequently Asked Questions My layout isn't displaying right! How do I fix it? Make sure the box labelled "automatic lines" at the bottom of your Account Settings is unticked, and you have a deluxe account, not a basic account. If this doesn't resolve the issue, post below describing the problem and I'll help you out. I'd like to use my own background image. How do I do this? To change the background image to one of your own choosing, change the URL in the 3rd line of the layout code to that of your image. The new image will need to be 1000px wide and 1400px high, unless you are able to modify the layout code to work with images of different dimensions. Why can't I use this on my basic account? Basic accounts are unable to use HTML, which the layout is written in, so it won't be possible for this to display on a basic account. To change the contents of the text boxes I suggest you copy the code to a text file on your computer and edit it there. That way you can also save it and pick it up again later if it takes a while, and you don't have to change your existing page. Viewing the result is a bit trickier, so for that you will probably have to display it on your account page. If you don't wish to lose your current layout I would suggest just copying that to a text file on your computer, which you can save and retrieve later as needed. Only the Wind: Looks great!
