Leaper and Fluff PRIVATE RP

Again, this is a private rp so only Leaper and I will be participating.


Here's my character:
Kodi ♂

Full Name: Kodiak Warren 

Overview: Let's just say Kodi prefers animals more than people. He doesn't like talking to others about anything personal. His mother died 7 years ago at age 9. He owns a five year old light dappled gray gelding named Ariat with four socks, a thick stripe, and a large snip (Ariat is a jumper). A few months ago, Kodi saved a rescue horse named Honey Comb. She is a dappled light Palomino Tobiano mare. Honey is trained to be a jumper, but she was treated harsh and rough, making her distrust humans. Kodi is a good-kid at home. When he's in school, he's the trouble kid. Anyone just gets the 'this dude is trouble' vibe from Kodi. He is sarcastic and always seems to talk blankly to his classmates and teachers. He also likes to throw out comments and talk back to people, which is bad. He gets into trouble a lot, but he does have decent grades, with low citizenship grades.
Lives: Small Private Ranch, 'Pebble Creek Ranch', located a few miles from the school campus with his Step-Mom and Father.

Tommorow would be the first day of school for students attending Forestdale High. Class started right at 8am, in which was pretty late for Kodi. Waking up at six in the morning to feed horses already set his alarm clock. Kodi walked out to the barn, a small brown wooden stable that was lengthy but also lower than a regular stable. With flat wooden planks running along the top, then on both sides the roof spiking out downwards, the stable was pretty aesthetic. He entered through a smaller but regular door off to the side. He filled a few hay bags he retrieved the day before with a flake of hay each and carried them over to the stalls, putting one in each stall. He then filled the horses buckets with a half scoop of Triumph. For Honey, feeding was a different matter. Kodi had to feed her separately, and she was stabled outside because she did not like other horses or being locked up in a stall. Kodi still loved that little mare, he did.

Backstory: very sad backstory. When she was young her parents died and she went from foster home to faster home. She doesn't really know how to be fun or happy do to some if the foster parents abusing her. But she finely lives in a home where her step parents and loves them.
Other: she has a black Doberman named Joey and a white appaloosa gelding named fox which she loves dearly.

Dawn woke up early and walked Joey. She then came back and are a small breakfast and braided her hair. She then walked to school. It was her first day and she was new. She quietly walked down the hall with her eyes on looking at the ground. She kept walking and soon found her locker

After caring for the horses, Kodi finished his breakfast and walked out the door. He stepped into his car, a black Toyota. It wasn't the best car but at least he could drive. He drove over to the school and parked in the student parking area. He stepped out of his car and headed over to the school. He took his time to walk very slowly. Walking over to his locker, he droppped off a few books and headed to his first period class.

She grabbed her books and went to her first class. She sat down and started to take notes

The bell rang before he could step into his class. The teacher gave him a look and pointed to his seat. "Are we going to have to go through this again, Mr. Warren? Why were you late?"

Blankly, and lying, "I got my schedule confused and went to the wrong class."

He walked over to his seat and sat down, half listening to what the teacher was going to say about class rules, blah blah this, blah blah that. 

Dawn sighed and listened as she started to draw on her paper and soon got lost in a day dream. Then the teacher called on her and she looked at him confusion and the class started to laugh 

Kodi glanced at her but didn't know what to say. Heck, he rarely payed attention himself. How was he supposed to help the new kid? 

Her face turned red and she shook her head and went back to drawing 

"Is there someone better to talk about?" He said quietly under his breath. 
He looked into his backpack and saw his sketchbook. It had a wooden cover with the word 'Sketch' etched into the wood. He opened it up to a blank page and wondered what to draw.... 

Dawn was glad that the bell rang for her next class. She gathered her things and got up and walked out and ran into someone
