Layout Input {pricing, design, etc.}

Hey guys. I just made myself a new layout and while my code is still all sorts of messy and disorganized, it had at least accomplished everything I would like it to do.

So now I'm wondering what everyone else thinks of it!

  • How much would you pay for a layout like mine? (I'm not quite used to the market/pricing of EV yet)

  • What would make it better/more desirable?

  • What works well?

You can view the layout by going to my page, or you can see a static preview below. Drag the image to your address bar to see it full-sized:

Pricing for a premade can be pretty subjective - it depends on how much demand there overall is for layouts/how many people need them, and how desirable the particular design is. That being said, selling a layout plus code is usually far more advantageous than selling one uncoded.

It's pretty common around here to auction layouts, and set an AB anywhere from 500k-1mil, depending on how well-known your work is and how complex the layout is, and set your end date and see if it gets bought out before that, and if not where the pricing ends up upon the auction's close

To me, the image on this is very nicely done, but once you get into the body of the page the plain brown background plus the brown styling of the info in the tables is awfully brown. I'd suggest bringing in some more of the colours from the image, like the blues, whites, and greys to make the bottom half of the layout match the top better. I think the overall treatment of the image is very nice, especially the repetition in the header - the only thing I'd recommend might make it look even more put together is playing with the styling of the coded part of the page some more.

I personally would pay 500k-1mil+
Your manips are beautiful, so that alone would have me sold.
The only thing is, I agree with River a bit. The coding could use a little bit of work :)
But hey, you said yourself that you think it's a bit messy and unorganized.
If you just cleaned it up a bit, I think it would be flawless!

But for real.... can't wait to order one c:
