Happy Easter!
I hope your day is going well! I just got back from church and my son is taking a nap before we have egg hunt and late lunch with my in-laws. It will only be us though as my husband got a job and is doing out of state training for a few months:(

Congrats to Kryssyn with Voracious Rapscallion winning our first Seasonal Champion for Spring 2018!

  • Voracious Rapscallion totaled a gain of 192 stats during the 2 month contest.

  • Fabelhaft's Cross Fire totaled 161 stats during that time as well!

Congrats to you both for you hard work!

Kryssyn will receive 100K and 1 bag totalling 100 treats (of her choice).
Please send me a message at 6193 with what treat you would like.

SUMMER SEASONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Here is the outline for the next Seasonal Championship as a refresher or if you are a new member of the club!
April (we accept horses for registration for the competition)
May 1st - June 30th (Summer Contest)

The whole month of April we'll be taking applications for the Summer Contest
Guidelines:

  • Horses entered must be 3 years old up until the age of 12 years.

There are certain limitations in place as the contest runs for 6 weeks. We don't want you to enter a horse in the later years of it's life and have it die before the contest is over. Horses must be 3 years old by the time the contest starts on May 1st.

The winnings will depend on how many horses are entered into the contest. Only one horse per player please. You can read full details on the page or message me if something is still unclear.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Check out the club page for the theme!

i think the 50 stats per year for foundations might be a little too ambitious.
while i have seen some horses that get to 1150 stats by retirement, most are around 850-1000.

maybe increments of 40 stats per year?

I think split pedigree means an uneven pedigree.

Like a Foundation x 3rd generation pedigree.

Yes, sorry for such a late response, that is what I was referring to as far as a split registry.
About the stats - I have it at 50 per year right now, it was taken as the only suggest I've ever rcvd so I went with that. It's also a bit easier read than calculating what 40 stats/year would be. And if your horse doesn't make it? It would be something to look forward to, something to achieve. Let me know what you guys think. I want to do what you guys want for the club to be fun, but I'd also like it to be a bit competitive being able to register your horses within club standards.

Do I use the forum Trakehner club to register my horses or is there any other way?

You register then through the club.  Click on the link for the horses currently registered within the club and there will be a drop down at the bottom of the page in which you can submit horses to be registered,  so long as they meet the basic guidelines for registration which are found on the club's page.

Thank you for your previous reply Notori - however I must be blind and daft.  I have seen the recent registrations on the club page but am not able to locate the link/dropdown box. Should I be looking on the club page in any specific area or on the breed directory?   I am a very clueless when it comes to techie stuff.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's in the box (on the club site) that states stuff about Club Owner, Admins, Members, Horses, Bank etc.

Click the link next to ''Horses'' - it says something like 2015 registered

Just to remind everyone, the training contest ends today! I am going to wait until the end of the day so everyone has a chance to rollover and play/feed/train on the last day to make things fair! I'll announce the winners either late tonight or tomorrow morning and post the next months contests!
