Text corruption

Hello all,

Just a quick note to say that there has been some text corruption around the site, particularly in member names.

We were taken down for emergency maintenance by our hosting company and given very little time to prepare for it - it's unfortunately left us with some text issues. It should be safe to go ahead and re-save your names and/or forum post text if you wish to change them. Hopefully this shouldn't happen again for a long time :)

All the non standard characters seem to be garbled up. I suspect the whole text content is affected .. Cant they be repaired by a script or something?
